*Tim rests in one of the booths, watching the bar. He nods absenttly to those people he knows, including his boss.*

"That? That's not Death. She's too human."
Barrel crosses his arms and frowns.

*Tim shrugs*

Thats how she looks to me. She may look different to you. But if she does, you'll know her.

"Well, I don't know, maybe she does look like that in your world. I've only seen her in drawings."

What does she look like in your drawings?

*Tim idly removes his frozen head.*

((ooc:Snicker)))

"Well, she's not exactly a girl. She's also not a boy. She's not anything. Just scary and cold."

Barrel reaches up to touch the head.

"I really wish I could do that." He frowns sadly.

*Tim shrugs*

One day, you will learn.

"Yeah, Jack said he'd show me. But only if I stop making Hallow cry. You know, its not like a try to make her cry. I try to make her laugh!"

Who's hallow?

*Tim doesn't remember that one.*

"Hallow is Jack and Sally's baby. She's a pumpkin."

*Tim stares.*

Huh.......

"Jack's a skeleton, Sally's a ragdoll, and they had a baby pumpkin named Hallow. Jack and Sally are the Pumpkin King and Queen. We had a coronation and everything. It was fun. The witches brewed frog's brain."

Ah.

*Tim nods.*

And he is going to teach you the head thing?

"Yes. He taught me how to take my arm and leg off, and I'm gonna learn how to take off my head before next Halloween. But I don't think he can do the fire thing that you can do. But he doesn't need to. He's scary enough." Barrel shudders.

Ah yes, King Skellington is quite the scary gentleman.

*Tim smirks.*

But few can keep up with me.

"Do you know Jack? Who was it we were talking to, he didn't know Jack. I can't remember who it is now. How do you know Jack?"

Barrel is curious now.

"What do you mean? Yes, the fire eyes and the ice is neat, but Jack's scary."

*Tim removes the ice. And then, he is normal. Except...theres a rising feeling of dread flowing right out of Tim. Not anything he's doing, just peer, unadultarated fear pouring off of him and into whoever is watching.*

"What the heck did you just do to me? I don't feel right. Stop it or I'll hit you!"
Barrel removes his arm and advances on Tim.

"You're not nice! I thought you were nice!"

*Tim breathes out, smiling.*

And that, is scary. It's a state of mind.

Still advancing, Barrel scowls.

"You're not nice!"

*Tim shakes himself....and he is naught but bones in a suit.*

Can anyone be really nice, all the time? Sometimes, you have to be scary.

"But you should be nice to me. Because, well, I've been nice to you. I could be mean and trick you."

Barrel scowls again.

"But you're right! Being nice isn't any fun. At least, not nice like this. Its no fun at all. I want to be nasty and cunning, that's fun. I want to string people up by their knees and tie cats tails together and drain the blood from people's faces!"

*skeleton Tim waggles a finger.*

But thats not allowed in this place. However? If you want some real fun? place real nice to someone until you can get them to take you to thier world...then you can have all the real fun you want....
