From the back door storms the Valkyrie. Its been wet and cold and rainy and overall miserable outside- all the better for trying to work off a temper. And given Ace's good advice, she's totally forgotten she's wearing the space agey red and black armor.

What? It fits well and she can move around easily. You're not going to make her self-conscious of it again, are you?

Mwaha.

She frowns faintly, and sips her hot chocolate. "... Working off my temper, and a bit of stress. Thinking. That sort of thing."

"Your temper?" Anthy bites her lip. "Did anything happen . . . ?"

"Just a bit... not happy with a friend of mine." She mutters. "And he's a difficult person to talk to at times."

"Oh dear," she says, vaguely. "Who is it?"

Svava sighs. "Hannibal. He's been staying in the Realm of Delerium." She mutters a bit.

"Hannibal?"

Anthy blinks. "Oh, the saber-toothed tiger? Well, he seemed happy . . ."

"And as a giant talking plant, and as a..... four armed... little... Alright, I have no idea what that thing is that he was." Svava boggles.

"A four-armed little . . . ?" Anthy echoes.

"Oh dear."

She reaches for her tea, and drinks a little, frowning thoughtfully. "I wonder if he's ever been a cow?"

"... I don't think he has." Svava just blinks at the idea.

"Oh dear," Anthy says again. At the situation in general or at the sad fact that he's never been a cow? Who knows. She spoons some sugar into her tea, and stirs it gently. "I can see how that would be stressful."

"Well... its not so much that that's stressful." A bit of a sigh, sipping her hot chocolate.

"A good portion of my friends seem to enjoy threatening Archie."

Anthy makes a sympathetic face.

A pause.

"Who's Archie?"

Svava blinks, then blushes faintly, smiling. "Oh. Archie? Archie Kennedy. He and I... are sort of seeing each other? I think that's what they say, isn't it?"

Anthy is a little more careful not to stare at Svava's shiny red chest. "Is it? I don't know. 'Sleeping together'?"

Of course Svava would be taking a sip of chocolate right then. So now she's coughing and sputtering, trying to breath.

"No! ack. No, we're not sleeping.... Anthy!"

Anthy looks at her in confusion, and with a touch of anxiety. "I'm sorry -- I didn't mean to . . . what's wrong?"

"We haven't slept..." Svava blushes. "I'm not allowed.... Its a Valkyrie thing." Hopefully that explains it all.

The confusion hasn't lessened.

"You haven't . . . then what did you mean?"

".... I don't know?" A wholly puzzled look at Anthy.

Svava is so strange! Anthy does not understand.

". . . Are you engaged?" she asks.

"No." At least that answer is easy enough. Svava sighs, frowning at her hot chocolate. ~~The hot chocolate wibbles.~~

"Valkyries are not supposed to fall in love and.... those sorts of things."

Anthy looks at her with a quick flash of interest.

"You aren't?" Her tone invites further explanation.

Svava sighs, and takes a seat, motioning for Anthy to join her. "No. We're not. That's just how... it worked out, I guess. Lose our immortality."

Anthy sits obediently, tea on the table and hands folded in her lap. A beat. Her eyes widen fractionally, but her voice is serene as ever.

"Do you want to stay immortal, then?"

Svava bites her lip, and shrugs. "... I don't know anything otherwise, Anthy. Living at Asgard is all I recall."
