Sara has put her things away the room and placed a few personal effects around.
"Strange...this place seems more like home than my apartment ever did."
With a slight shrug, she gets dressed for the day. Jeans and a black Talk Nerdy To Me shirt. She wanders downstairs into the bar for breakfast.
Pester at will.

She nods seriously. "I understand. At least, I think I do." With a sigh, and a determined look on her face, she holds out her hand again, and concentrates.
Her hand is tingling and there is something being called there.

"There is something there, definitely - but it might take a while until you get it to do something. But I think it will work - you best practise in your room, by yourself, until you get it right."
Sara at least doesn't have the problem David had, who inundated the carpet right away because of too much magical energy.

"But don't try to force it - you can do it, it will just take time," he then adds.

"And I will, I promise."

"Do you know what Mikey's party is about, though?" he then asks.

"Um, well, it's a house-warming party he and his roommate are throwing. A formal event--I'm wearing a gown."

Asar-Suti maintains it's intuitive, while some think it's very precise. It's both, in its way, of course. Wave or particle. But sorcerers, like scientists or scholars, can agree quite vehemently.
"And after that, I'll gladly throw the library open to you as well. You will ike it - there are many books there, mostly about magic, but lots of general theory as well. I'm reading the writings of an Earth writer named Umberto Eco at the moment, who wrote about signs in general, never dreaming it might be applicable to magic as well, as that version of Earth obviously doesn't have any."
He then considers. "Formal - I will have to wear a tie. Raph mentioned a tie, too - I have never done that. I might try some sort of magic user formal wear, but would be disadvantaged as I'd have to borrow that from another tradition. Hmmm - I will simply follow Gil's example, I think. He's a wizard, so waht's all right for him will be all right for me," he muses.

"If you have trouble with the tie, try to find me. I can handle those pretty well. But I think that as long as you aren't looking filthy or rumpled, you should be fine." She smiles again.

Then, he gets up to leave her to it, giving her a little bow and wandering off to talk to Bernard.
[[OOC: Because once more it's really late for the mun - good night, and see you around.]]
