*Snow is in the bar. Wade's with her, too. Mun isn't feeling overly creative tonight*

"Oh grand." 'Cause that doesn't sound like rebound at all, no. "It's going to have to be a rather long chat, isn't it?"

Yes. Yes, it will. If you'd like me to be there, if only to have someone to whack him upside the head while you're throttling him, feel free to ask.

"No, it's alright. I can handle it. I might need cocoa, after, but yeah." Ace can already tell that this won't be good, but she holds out some hope. Tim won't hurt her... right?

Right. I'll tell Bar to have a mug ready for you, on me.

"Ta, Snow." Ace grins, weakly, and sips more of her cocoa, wondering how she always manages to get into these messes anyway.

*Snow gives a small smile*

No problem. And come to me if it seems like he'll need further convincing.

"Right." She offers Snow a sly sort of grin. "'Cause he'd be a bloody idiot to cross you."

*Snow grins*

On numerous levels, not the least of which is that I'm engaged to his boss.

"There is that, yes. Important sort of detail, doncha think." She looks a bit cheered.

*Snow smiles*

Don't worry, he'll probably understand.

"I hope so." Fervently. "I... I love him."

*Snow nods*

Make that clear and he'll take it easier when you point out that he's moving too quickly.

Ace looks uncertain.
"But what if he doesn't get it? If he thinks I'm just being daft?" She stops, and shakes her head. "Sound likes some lovesick prat."

*Snow sighs with a small smile*

He won't think you're just being daft. Relax.

"Right. Not daft. Got it." She does her best to look bold and brave and all that a true explorer of the universe should. She looks like a tweenager in an oversized bomber jacket. Ah well. The Doctor doesn't look like much either, does he?

*a comforting smile is offered*

You'll do fine. If he really loves you, there won't be any problem with putting this off indefinately.

Ace raises an eyebrow.
"Oh, I don't know about indefinately. I'm not saying the idea has no merit... just... it should wait. A very long while. Until I know what I'm getting into, and he does to." She nods, definite.

Indefinate just means that you're leaving it deliberately unspecified, for now. It doesn't eliminate the possibility of it happening.

"Hmmm..." She grins. "Then I think I like that word."
