"Nay, nothing of real import, say true," she answers swiftly. "Ye know that I'd not wish to cause trouble here."

"I didn't wish ye to think I was complaining about yer bar, sai."

Susan flushes, looking slightly embarrassed.

"Say sorry. I was only wishing."

*He hesitates, then puts a gentle hand over hers on the table and squeezes.*

Don't worry so much, Susan. I didn't think that. I was just worried that you seemed unhappy.

*He glances around the bar contemplatively, and his eyes alight on the clock above the Bar.*

Shit. It's late.

Can we talk about this some more tomorrow?
