Hermione glances at the sign, and writes in her neat, tiny print:

I, Hermione Granger, would like to apply for position of washer. I am a witch, and anything I can not already clean with elbow grease I can usually finish with magic. I can repair broken dishes, and I've gotten quite good at removing stains. My two best friends are boys with no table manners whatsoever, you see. I've had to learn.
