*A burnt and slightly bloody Tim pops through the door. No major wounds, but his clothes look like he was in an explosion, and there is a horrible nasty gash on his right cheek.*

Oy. Step dad hates me.

"There should be a club." Ace mutters, and loops his arm over her shoulders as she wraps hers around his waist.
"C'mon, nice warm spot by the fire for you, boyo, while I go find the first-aid kit."

*Tim limps along with her, wincing at every step.*

Just gotta get cleaned up for the party....

"Oh bloody hell, that's tonight, isn't it? Bother. First getting you sorted out though." She lets him relax into the comfy chair. "No going anywhere. Do you want some of that sludge you call tea, or do I get to pick?"

*Tim waves a hand.*

This is mostly mana burn. It's all right.

*He waves a hand, and it is all right. all nice and clean...well, except for the long line on his right cheek.*

Ace raises an eyebrow at him and perches on the table. No need to rush about, after all, not if he's still able to pull that trick off.
"So you're not going to collapse on me?"

*Tim shakles his head.*

No collapse.

*He raises one hand to hsi cheek.*

Bah, a new scar.

Well, that's a relief then. Ace looks a little less tense, and gives him a sort of sideways look before dropping a very deliberate wink.
"I dunno, kinda roguish."

*Tim blushes at her.*

Yeh, i should uh, go get ready.

"You go. I need to finish my cocoa." She grins broadly at the blush.

*And tim wanders to his room.*
