Helen's in the bar. Melina's with her. They are over by the fire, Melina munching on greens and apples and Helen with her tea.

Helen looks like she needs bothering....

And there's Ace with her cocoa.
"Lo, Helen." Ace smiles over the rim of he mug.

Helen smiles gently, over the rim of her teacup. "Good evening, Ace. How are you this evening?"

"M'good. You?" She's into short sentences today.

Helen sips her tea gently. "I'm alright." She points to Ace's drink. "Coffee?"

"Cocoa. Best in the multiverse." She grins. "Want some?"

"Cocoa? I have never had it." She finishes off the tea in her cup. (She still has a pot of it left) "Sure, I'll try some."

"Right. Be right back." She settles her mug on the table, and heads back to the bar. In a few minutes she returns, bearing a mug of cocoa for Helen.
"There you go. Chocolately goodness in liquid form."

Helen smiles. "Sounds good!" She lifts the mug and takes a sip. She swallows it quickly. "It is very hot! But yes, it is good..."

"Ooooh." Ace winces. "Sorry, shoulda warned you about that."

Helen smiles. "It's alright." She lifts the cocoa and blows gently on it. "I heard there was a party last night. Did you go?"

"Yeah. Got dressed up and everything. Shocked m'boyfriend, which was great fun." She beams.

"Ooo..." Helen's eyes widen. "That sounds fun. And who is this boyfriend?" she asks playfully, taking a small sip of her cocoa.

"Tim. He's on security." Barely a blush. She's gotten used to having a boyfriend, and those in the know have moved on to teasing her about other things. Like her lovelife. Oy. "And it was a brilliant party. Even if someone dumped the entire alcohol content of the bar into the punch."

Helen grins. "Sorry I missed it. I like parties." She smiles. "Oh yes, Tim. I don't know him too well, but I do know that he works Security." She sighs. "I don't have a boyfriend here to impress. I sorta wish I did..."

"You and Claire, she works bar, you should get together and form a club or sommat. She said almost the same thing to me the other day." Ace shakes her head. "I know there have to be decent, straight, available blokes around here somewhere."

Helen giggles. "I know Claire. Maybe we should form the 'Single Club' or something." She smiles. "Wouldn't you think so? I mean, there are so many people here..."

"That's a grand idea!" Ace encourages. "You could have parties and all."

Helen grins. "So what would we do? Invite single men and single women?" She takes a sip of her cocoa. This idea...may actually work....

"Yeah. You could do... minglers. Or sommat. So that you'd be able to meet people who aren't taken. Or at least you'd know when you weren't."

Helen smiles. "I'll have to talk to Claire about this, or someone at least...It sounds like a good idea! Thank you so much for suggesting it!"

Ace grins crookedly.
"I try. Really."

Helen smiles brightly. "I can tell. You have good ideas, Ace." Helen drinks a bit more of the cocoa. "This is really good!"

"It's lots of practice, and editing. I mean, I could have offered something like overbrewed tea..."

Helen laughs. "I like tea, but you're right. Overbrewed tea is not worth it." She grins. "So, do you know anyone who might be interested in joining this 'Singles club' if it were formed?"

"Errr..." Ace grins weakly. "Claire, for one. You could post a notice on the bar..."

Helen laughs. "Alright then, I'll do that." She grins brightly. "Anyway, it was nice chatting with you! You have good ideas...and thank you for introducing me to Cocoa!" Helen stands. "I will catch you another time?"

"Definitely. Not goin' anywhere." She grins up at Helen.

Helen grins. "Have a good night!" She waves and leaves happily.
