Entrance post. Er. Sort of.

A tall man walks into the bar, then stops, instantly noticing the change in scenery. He is dressed smartly, looking like a reasonably well off person hailing from around the 19th Century. He has the face of an organiser. A somewhat puzzled one, but an organiser nonetheless.

[OOC: And Salzella's gone. As is the Mun. Not to the same place, though. At least I bloody well hope not.]

Eska approaches the confused-lookinh man.

"Hi, first time in Milliways?" the wizard asks him.

"I wouldn't know," Eska replies. "But this tavern is opened on to by a lot of places. It's the Bar at the End of the Universe."

She takes a few steps into the main bar and points out the observation window.

"There's a magical shield around the bar protecting it from the force of the acopralypse and keeping it suspended in its own field of spacetime. Every so often it flicks back to the beginning of the event so the effect is that the multiverse is always ending outside."

She smiles at the polite newcomer.

"My name's Eska Smith, by the way."

It's not that ridiculous. Violinists often get sick.

"Likewise, Mr. Salzella.

"A few other pointers for you: the Bar is sentient. She'll provide drinks for you when there's no person around, but do be polite to her. Or there's the wait rats, which are also intelligent and good servers. And there's no violence in ther bar."

That said, she smiles.

"So, where are you from?"

"Are you kidding? Scholar's entrance goes right past the stage door!" Esk grins broadly, before explaining:

"I'm a graduate student at the University. It's certainly pleasant change to meet someone else from the Big Wahoonie. There's not many of us here."

"They don't. It's just me," Esk says with a little pride. "I didn't have to dress up as anything other than a maid to start with, then I saved a boy's life with magic and they admitted I should be made a wizard officially."

She shrugs. "Well, about as intriguing as a female assassin, I imagine.

"Anyway, it was nice to meet you, Mister Salzella, but I must be heading off. I have to teach early tomorrow."

She gives him the formal bow of a wizard, totally flourish-free.
