Todd is sitting at a very strategic table. It's not too far from the bar, yet not so much in a dark corner that he can't be seen. It's the absolutely perfect spot to be noticed and yet somewhat removed at the same time. Very carefully chosen.

Anyhoo, he has his '70s-style tape recorder and microphone sitting on the table with him, as well as his 35mm Minolta. There's also a looseleaf notebook of some kind and a pen, on which he seems to have (upon further inspection) created some kind of table. Printed on a narrow rectangular sign in neat letters, black outlined with yellow, reads the words Free Interviews! Be a Star!. This sign is propped up at the front of the table. There's sort of an updated lemonade stand feeling to the whole thing, so it's a good thing that he happens to be drinking a glass of lemonade. He's also reading a disco ball-silver, January 1978 paperback edition of The Shining*, smiling a bit to himself, indicating the casualness of this endeavour.

*In front of his elevator, Paul sucks deeply on his cigarette, and exhales forcefully in Todd's direction. The whisps of smoke barely reach the other boy, before disappearing.*

Todd barely glances up from his book...although he takes a second look once he notices the, uh, elevator. His expression is decidedly snarky.

*Removes his cigarette from his mouth. Sticks out his tongue between his fangs. It's all very snake-like.*

Todd gives him a rather reptilian look in response, as if to say Oooh, I'm scared. He puts the book down for a moment and holds up his camera, tapping it with his finger.

Todd shrugs a shoulder, grinning. "Why not? You don't show up on film or something?" He puts the camera back down and picks up The Shining again. All work and no play makes Todd a dull boy.

"What does it look like?" says Sarcasmo-Boi. "We give interviews. Too bad I already did one for you. Though if you want, we could get a bit more...personal."

Todd puts down his book and grins brightly at Akane, dimples showing. "Well, your words would go down in Milliways history. And your picture, too. Where it goes from there, we'll just have to see."

Todd puts out his hand for a shake, his smile brilliant and beautiful. "Nice to meet you, Akane. I'm Todd Bowden. Are you Japanese?"

"Konnichiwa," Todd says cheerfully, his own shake firm as well, but not so much as to be uncomfortable. Then he laughs modestly: "Yeah, I'm American. You can tell, huh? Why don't you have a seat?" He indicates one of the other chairs at the table, the one directly across from him.

*smiles happily* Well, your accent gives it away. You're lucky, a friend of mine spent a lot of time overseas and he tells me America's wonderful. *takes the seat and looks up expectantly* So, how do we do this?

"America's great. I wouldn't wanna live anywhere else. 'Cept maybe Switzerland." Todd smiles again, then takes up his notebook and pen, all business. "Okay. Well first, would you mind telling me a bit of preliminary information about yourself? Your full name, date of birth, time at Milliways, and...well, we already know where you're from, but if you could be more specific..."

Todd's grin grows a touch sardonic, but he gestures to a chair across from him. "Have a seat!"

Todd greets the hand with a firm shake of his own. "Todd Bowden. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Olivaw." He picks up his notebook and pen, making a mental note that he should get a clipboard. That would look more professional.

"Now, Mr. Olivaw. Would you mind answering a few preliminary questions? You gave your name..." He scribbles it down in the notebook. "...but how about your date of birth, original location, and how long you've been at Milliways?"
