She orders the coffee and tries to decide what she might want to eat.
The coffee appears and with it is an envelope.
Kim's confused and doesn't recognize the handwriting. She opens the envelope and finds a letter.
She reads the first paragraph, not sure who this is from and then the truth becomes increasingly clear.
You just don’t need someone like me in your life. I’m sorry. I'm unBound. I'm going home. By the time you read this letter I will have committed suicide. Tony.
"No," she whispers. Just like her dreams, like what she couldn't stop and it was all her fault and if she wasn't there he'd still be alive and she couldn't stop him, couldn't stop it, couldn't stop it, couldn't stop it...
Her eyes widen and her skin feels like she just jumped into a frozen lake. Hands tingling, her head feels weird, the Bar's spinning, light-headed, nauseated and she wants to scream but makes no sound as she falls to her knees.

He rushes over. "Kim, are you ok?"

She feels the floor under her palms. She's on the ground, how did she get here?
no subject
Well, that explains that.
He crouches down next to her and puts a hand on her shoulder, trying to get her attention.
"Kim, c'mon. I'll help you up."
no subject
Her fault.

"Ok, I'll help you," he says as he guides her up off the floor and over to the nearest booth.
When she's seated he asks, "Kim, may I see your letter?"
no subject
"I couldn't stop him," she says softly but it's possible she's still not aware of Ryan talking to her.

He inhales sharply as he realizes Tony is home and they may be too late.
"We're going to need someone who is UnBound," he mutters while rubbing his forehead.
The first person who comes to mind is his daughter.
First, I need to talk to Jack.
"Kim, do you know where your father is right now?"
no subject
"I couldn't stop him, either." She whispers.

He spots Kim, and pales. "Kim! Oh, my god..." He runs over. "Ryan, what happened?"
no subject

"By the sound of it that's exactly what he's done. We need to go after him. Now. I'll need either or both of you to come with me, as I'm Bound--I don't think the door would let me out otherwise. Chase, you should come too in case we need to carry him back. And we need someone to get a healer--Ryan can you do that while Elaine stays with Kim?"

He walks up to it, touching the door handle, turning it...and it won't open. He jiggles the handle--still locked. "Dammit!"
