[This takes place just after Billy and Hob sleep together.Apologies. It's taken me this long to get it written. The Spanish is a quote, and it has been translated as "the dead have things to tell the living". Apparently it has to be idiomatic, because it's not a straight translation, but that's the way it was used. 'K?]
