Enter Richard, Amadeo and Joshua in 'Deo's arms. Richard has a baby bag slung over his shoulder, and Joshua has his wee hands wrapped around 'Deos finger.
Come say hello to the happy family as they sit in a booth to relax and feed thebebbe baby.

And 'Deo looks up at the confused man with a kitten on his shoulder.
Blink.

"Richard? Amadeo? Do you is...that's not Seth, I don't think. Who had a baby?"
The kitten flexes his claws into Nick's shoulder and settles down a little bit.

"He's a late wedding gift from a wonderful God," he says, looking back down again at the bundle of joy.
"And who had a kitten?"
He inclines his head at the Alex kitten.
no subject
"Yours?"
And a special sort of thrill goes through him...one that he ends up pushing to the back of his mind as he's got quite enough on his plate at the moment.
He smiles.
"Beautiful."
And the little child is, a tuft of red hair peeking up.
Then he rolls his eyes.
"The kitten is Alex. Your God...was in a condition where he couldn't swallow a trick and, well...here I sit with a kitten on my shoulder."
no subject
"Not my God. Richard's and David's and... not my God, but I'm very thankful to him."
He smiles softly, up at Nick and then down at Joshua. "He really is. And he's of our blood... someone to finally carry on my blood, to carry on Richard's blood."
Another smile, and he nods to the seat, meaning, "sit," even as Richard moves to take them both closer.
"His tricks can we awkward, can't they?"

He presses kisses on both his lover and his son before turning back to the tall blond boy.
no subject
"Just a bit, yes."
no subject
A reconsideration.
"Not that it's really different from any other day of the week, yes?"
Grin.
no subject
"Well, I have an excuse to keep him with me at all time. And he is adorable."
A smile.

Anyone within hearing distance, die now. 'Deo's going to let someone else touch the bebbe.

Anyone within hearing distance, die now. Nick's going to let someone else touch the kitten.
And he carefully picks up the sleeping kitten, holding him out in one hand for Richard to take the kitten.

"You're just as pretty as a kitten as you are when you're a man."

And he exits the booth to come close enough for Amadeo to pass him the child.

He makes soft baby noises, and cracks an eye at Nick before closing them again.
"I think he likes you."
no subject
"Nice to know."
And then he's entirely enraptured by the baby, the smile on his face fit to light the room, a feeling of peace and joy flowing from him unconciously as he rocks the baby gently and does nothing but smile. Joshua paws at his hand and he lifts it to run a finger down his cheek, which gets a curious look from Joshua before he smiles.
Nick looks to 'Deo.
"He's beautiful."
no subject
"I know."
And he's ours, all ours.

A beautiful addition to our family, Beloved.

"You're very lucky."
And he closes his eyes as he carefully pulls his hand away to make the sign of the cross on the child's forehead as he speaks an ancient French prayer that he remembers from his own childhood, from after his sister's baptism. The French shifts to Latin and he continues, the words slurring slightly as his lips char and his eyes water and his hand heals from the sign...but he's smiling by the end, rocking the child carefully before bending down to hold the baby out for 'Deo.
"Thank you."
no subject
"Thank you, Nick."
no subject
"My pleasure."
And he says it in a way that tells 'Deo that it truly was. Then he looks to Richard and holds out his hands for Alex.
"My kitten, please?"
no subject
"He really is a cute kitten."
no subject
"I know. And he's a beautiful baby."
no subject
"Thank you very much."
He shoulders the baby bag and tucks the blanket more securely around Joshua.
"Think it's time we went home, but we'll be back again soon. Good night you two."
no subject
"G'night."
