Enter Richard, Amadeo and Joshua in 'Deo's arms. Richard has a baby bag slung over his shoulder, and Joshua has his wee hands wrapped around 'Deos finger.

Come say hello to the happy family as they sit in a booth to relax and feed the ~~bebbe~~ baby.

Richard laughs now.

"I know that Amadeo is particularly pretty, but I think it should be obvious that he's a man."

Amadeo blushes and presses into Richard's side as he feeds Joshua.

"I happen to be blesses with a very generous and benevolent God. Loki saw our troubles with the adoption agencies and knew, of course, that we could never conceive on our own, so he gifted us with Joshua as a late wedding present."

*he smiles*

Then I'm glad for you, that you would have such a kind god, anyway. Then again, a kind man would find a kind god.

*a small laugh as he looks at 'Deo*

And I'm sorry about that. I just...couldn't quite figure out where the baby came from before you explained and assumed...

He smiles, laughing slightly.

"Me? Get pregnant and ruin my figure?" he says, grinning and setting the empty bottle down before placing the burp rag on his shoulder and lifting Joshua lightly. "I know I was desperate for a child, but really."

Joshua burps as 'Deo rubs his back, and he gives a little kick.

"Loki was very kind to us."

*he blinks*

Amadeo? Are those...wings?

*he thinks that Aunt Pol herself might be a little freaked by that...despite her experience and her love of birds*

Cue one very bewildered father looking around...

And SQUEEING.

Joshua's unfazed. Just burps and spits up a little.

Oh, to be a bebbe.

He smiles and softly strokes a feather with one fingertip. Joshua coos in delight.

"Yes, Loki is, among many things, God of the Falcons. Joshua inherited traits from that part of his blood."

*he laughs softly and grins*

Well, he's very cute. I...don't have much experience with babies but I've been reading some books that Mistress Lewis gave me about it and...well, they're not so scary, I guess.

*he looks to Richard and 'Deo*

May I let him see my finger?

Richard quirks an eyebrow but nods.

"As long as it won't harm him in any way."

"As Richard says. Strange request, but of course," he says, and smiles, shifting bebbe back down into the crook of his arm and tucking the blankets mostly around him again, looking at Garion.

*he shrugs and reaches out a hand, fingers brushing the soft red hair to slide down the cheek as he smiles at the baby. The pearlescent mark on his hand shimmers and when Garion speaks, it's not exactly his voice.

"Hello, little one. Hail and well met. Blessings on you...from all of us."

*and then Garion's smiling down at the child again and Joshua has grabbed his finger with a giggle at the shimmering glow*

Glad someone's amused at me.

Richard smiles and leans down to kiss Joshua again.

"Thank you for the blessing. It's very much appreciated."

He smiles and nods.

"I think Joshua says thank you, too."

*he shrugs*

He works in baffling ways...and the Orb is pretty friendly as long as no one tries to touch it but me.

*he smiles at Richard*

And I'm sure he'll be fine. He's got a wonderful father.

He smiles back.

"He has three wonderful fathers and several other wonderful family members. He's a very lucky little lad."

*blink*

Three fathers? Who was the mother? Is she...

Richard chuckles again.

"There is no mother. Loki blended our blood and then bore Joshua himself. Gods aren't quite so bound to gender rules as we are."

I...see.

*the voice is smugly silent but*

Okay, that's NOT funny.
*What?*
AAAAAAAAAAH!
*You did it, not me.*
But-
*All you.*
Ouch. Just...ouch.

*he winces*

You have...an interesting God.

Richard gives him an odd look.

"Are you all right?"

*he nods*

Nothing. I'm fine. Really.

*and he grins*

And he's a beautiful baby.

He smiles a bit impishly.

"Thank you. You should bring your wife down to meet him."

*he nods*

Right.

*and he yawns*

I think I'll be heading off now, if you don't mind. I've been sleeping in various spots around the bar as a wolf but...nothing's the same as lying next to Ce'Nedra.

*and then a wolf bounds up the stairs*
