Even though it isn't the warmest day, Valentine is out back, by the lake. She has spent most of the day lying on her back on the raft in the middle of the lake staring up at the clouds, thinking through things that she probably should have thought through a while ago. However, now, as night falls, she swims back to shore, curling up in a towel and her swimsuit staring at the lake. As the moon rose, she just stared at the stars, her heart longing for a different time, a time that she was perhaps not as safe as she is now, but a time that somehow seemed simpler, more peaceful.

Haven't you already chosen?

You can't change it, so fretting over it won't do any good.

You made a choice.
Therefore, for you, it is the right choice. 'cause it has been the right choice. Do you see what I mean?
