Hagrid is in the gardens, wand in hand, coaxing his sprouting pumpkin seedlings to grow into mature plants, one by one.

He saw a sign before coming out about circuses, and wonders what it is. Maybe he'll stick around to find out...

Come and keep him company while he works.

"I ferget that there's a lot o' Muggles around th' place. Prob'ly more than wizards, now I think on it. Maybe I'll stick around an' watch."

"I think you'll enjoy it."

Having finished taking care of the plant within reach, Zedd looks at a emty spot in the garden, why is it there?

"Hagrid, is something wrong with that spot? It seems rather emty."

"Dunno," Hagrid says with a slight frown. "I coulda swore I planted seeds there."

He looks over at his coat sheepishly.

"The seeds were in me pocket, though, so they coulda been dead or damaged or summat."

"I'll take a look."

Zedd carefully walks over to the dead patch and puts his hand on the ground. Magic flows into the groun and looks for the seeds. He can't find any.

"Hagrid, there aren't any seeds in the ground. My guess is they may have been planted to close to the top and birds came in and got them. Either that, or those bugs I chased out got to the seeds before they could starts to grow."

He sounds a little annoyed with the lack of seeds.

"Is there anythin you think the garden needs to be here? I'm sure I can manage something for you."

Hagrid stares at the spot in consternation for a minute, then suggests, "Maybe a little tree, or summat? Somethin' ter shade th' plants?"

Zedd stares at it too, thinking about what type of tree would be good.

"Does a plum tree sound good? That way it can create shade, and give us fresh fruit to cook with. Or maybe a apple tree?"

He ponders on this.

"A plum tree sounds nice," Hagrid says. "We don't get many o' those where I'm from. I guess wizards don' tend ter like 'em much or summat."

Zedd smiles thoughtfully.

"That will be it then. I've always wanted to grow a plum tree somewhere, I just never had the chance."

He beams happily.

"I'll ask the bar for a seed later. I should be off to the auditions soon."

"I appreciate th' help," Hagrid says sincerely. "I hope yeh'll come out again ter give the plants a check up."

Zedd stand up and brushes the dirt from his hands and robes.

"It was my pleasure to help out. And I will get out here to look at them as often as I can. At least once every day or so if I can remember."

Zedd turns to walk away, but stops short.

"Are you going to come watch the auditions Hagrid?"

"I think I'm gonna go get washed up a bit first," Hagrid says, looking down at his grass and dirt-stained clothes. "But I'll try ter come down in a bit. Have fun!"

"I will. Keep taking care of this garden, it looks beautiful."

And Zedd walks off to the auditions.
