Zoop! The door opens, and in comes a new bar patron!

...But wait. Where are they? The door opened, yet nobody entered. All that followed was... a wind?

Wait. Look. There is someone, standing in the middle of the bar. A certain ability of superspeed got her from the door to the middle without even being seen - she had entered while running, you see. She looks understandably confused to be here, rather than where she'd intended to go.

"John? Jay?" She calls hesitantly, looking around.

Grife... it looks like it hadn't worked. At all.

So where was she?

Bart stares.

"Jenni?"

"Bart?" Jenni will take the time in a moment to wonder why her cousin is in a bar. Right now she is too busy tackling him in a hug, because she thought she'd -never seen him again-. "Bart!"

Bart picks her up and spins her around super speed.

"What are you doing here Jenni?"

Jenni can't help giggling at that. "I don't know!" She peers around them, puzzled. "I don't even know what 'here' is."

"Here is Milliways. Bar at the end of Time. Er."

Bart puts her down.

"Granpa is here."

Jenni blinks, and then blinks again. "What are you talking about, Bart? Grandfather's dead."

...Bar at the end of time? Grife, what was this?

Bart nods seriously.

"Yes, he is. He's also here. After his death."

Jenni looks quite confused and startled. In her confusion, she forgets to force the english out, speaking Interlac instead. "[After his death?! -What-?]"

Bart places his hands on Jennys shoulders, if only to help keep him steady.

"[Jenni... people who are dead come here as well as those alive. All places, worlds and times. We have gods here. Superboy and Robin are here, and Green Lantern was, and Starman... I saw Luke Skywalker at one point. This place is beyond belief.]"

"[Superboy?]" Jenni pauses at that, then shakes it off. Not going there, nope... not around Bart. Although she would be wildly curious later. "[-Luke Skywalker-? Grife. How is this all possible?]"

She is either dreaming, or John's machine somehow drove her insane. She wonders which it is, or if it even matters at this point.

Bart grins widely, and hugs Jenni again.

"[It's not possible It's Milliways.]"

"[So...what?]" Jenni hugs him back, and stares wide eyed at everything around them. "[We just... suspend our belief because we're here?]"

"[Pretty much.]"

Bart zooms away, then back with the Book.

"[Here, read this.]"

Jenni raises her eyebrows at the cover. "The Restaurant... at the end of the universe?" She peers at him. "[What is -this-?]"

"[A book. You read them.]"

Jenni laughs at that. "[Don't be so literal, Bart.]" She shakes her head at him, and then begins to superspeed her way through it.

Bart leans back.

"This place is impossible Jenni."

He smiles slightly.

"So impossible? I even got a girlfriend."

Jenni pauses in the middle of rereading the book, and drops it, her jaw dropping open. "You... -what-?" One moment, one moment. The last she had seen -- ... "...how old are you, Bart?"

Bart thinks a moment.

"Real Time or relative?"

...okay. There was a way to make this easier. "How much time has passed since I left?"

Bart blinks

"Which time? Last time i saw you was in the future with the Legion."

In the future with -- Jenni blinks. "Oh."

She's not quite sure what to say to that.

"If it helps? I've just joined the titans and I'm going by Kid Flash now."

And that would help, if she had followed Bart's past before she got stuck in the past herself. She had always meant to, but? It had never quite happened.

"Bart?" She says with a nervous laugh. "I don't think we're quite aligned here."

"Grief."

Bart sighs.

"Time travel."
