Molly Prewett, at your service (First entrance)
Molly sighed happily. She had spent a dizzying two hours with Arthur down by the lake. When when it was time to go back to Gryffindor tower, Arthur had caused a distraction so that Molly could sneak past Apollyon Pringle, the nasty caretaker, and make it safely up the stairs. She hoped he didn't get caught.
Giggling slightly as she breathlessly approached the portrait of the Fat Lady (who guarded the entrance to the Gryffindor common room) she said the password quietly. "Carpe Diem!"
"Young lady! The Fat Lady began, in what Molly had come to know as the lecture tone.
Molly ignored it and slipped behind the potrait and into...
"This isn't the common room!"

"No, it certainly isn't. Hello. New here?"
She smiles. This girl reminds her of someone.

"Actually . . . no. You're not in your school anymore. This is Milliways. It's a restaurant. At the end of the universe."
She smiles apologetically and points to the viewing window. "I hope you're used to strange things happening."

"How'd I get here? Are all of these people from Hogwarts?"
no subject
"Oh, you're from Hogwarts? That's wonderful! So am I! My name's Hermione Granger, what's yours?"

"Molly is a nice name. My best friend's mother's . . . name is . . . Molly . . ."
And realization hits her like a wrecking ball. She pauses for a moment, but because she is Hermione, carries on spectacularly.
"All sorts of people come here. There's even a mad Frenchman from a muggle cartoon trying to get me to marry him."
She grins conspiratorially as an endless stream of Oh my. Oh my. It's Mrs Weasley. Oh my. runs through her head.

Molly pauses to let everything Hermione has told her sink in.
"What's a cartoon and why would it's frenchman want to marry you?"
no subject
"He thinks I'm his ex-girlfriend who he was willing to murder for. Have I mentioned he's completely mad?"
Don't mention Ron, don't mention Ron, don't mention Ron. It's rude to tell someone you're best friends with their sixth son who they haven't had yet.

"Your. Hair. Is. FABULOUS!" Molly explodes suddenly. "Can I brush it? Please? I know this great braiding charm!"
She draws a brush from her pocket and looks at Hermione with longing.
no subject
"Well . . . I suppose so, yes. Go right ahead. Your hair is very nice, too. I love red hair."
no subject
"My boyfriend, Arthur, has red hair too. Sometime in the future - the distant future, mind you - I'm going to have a houseful of little red-headed girls. I'll brush their hair and tie it up in pink bows, and dress them in pretty little maroon dresses!"
Molly pauses to carefully untangle a know in Hermione's hair, then continues.
"So you have a boyfriend?"
no subject
"That sounds lovely," she agrees. Don't think of Fred and George in dresses and bows.
"Well . . . I think I do. I'm not entirely certain."
She blushes.

Welcome to Milliways

Molly is looking around curiously everywhere.
"Gosh, you're pretty!"

"I would say not!"
"How'd I get here?"

Molly is a witch, after all, but such things really shouldn't be possible. There's only one thing to say to that one: "Wow!"
She looks out the window again.
"And there's people here from all over the world?"
no subject
More than likely, though it does vary for some.
All over the multiverse, in fact.

Molly looks out the window again.
"What's a multiverse?"

"Where are my manners? My name's Molly Prewett."
