Ace. In a bar. With a map of London's Underground. And her usual cocoa and cinnamon toast breakfast.
At least she's not flinging paper planes about again.

"What up, sai?"
no subject
Ace... blinks.
Then grins.
"Either you are the most informal gunslinger ever, or soon we'll all be throwing about their slang."
no subject
"I'm not a gunslinger, I just like the way they talk. I've met Alain, Kooshbert, and Roland so far. Nice guys. Sadly, not pirates."
no subject
Ace can't wait to try that one out.
no subject
Lilly smiles.
"Yeah, Kooshbert. Ask him to introduce you to Kooshbert junior some time and it will all make sense."
no subject
"Kooshbert junior... please tell me he doesn't have a kid. I don't think I can take it." She begs in a tone of mingled horror and facination.
no subject
"No, not a kid. He has a rainbow-colored ball that is filled with something like jelly and has floppy rubber spikes all over it. They're called Kooshballs, and they were really popular when I was younger. That one's called Kooshbert junior, though. We named it last night."
no subject
"You gave one of these... spiky floppy rubber ball things to a ka-mai? And Roland hasn't killed you yet? I'm impressed." Belatedly, she remembers her manners. "Oh, m'Ace, by the way."
(ooc: Woe! Time for lab. I'll be back on in three or so hours. *flings loff* Slowtime?)
no subject
Lilly looks puzzled.
"What's a ka-mai? Because if it's Kooshbert, he seems totally attached to little Kooshie junior already. Oh, and Roland's coming to my karaoke party, he may kill me after that. And if so the name on the tombstone, again, will be Lilly Kane. Nice to meet you, Ace."

"Ka-mai, awesome. And the karaoke party is the Night of the Living Dead Pirate Karaoke party Meg and I are throwing this Saturday. Everyone's invited, and posters are going up today."
Her grin, if possible, gets wider.
"I got Roland to come by agreeing to leave him alone till then."
no subject
"Who else is coming?"
no subject
"Everyone, if they know what's good for them. Otherwise, Meg and I will make them come anyway and we might not be nice about it."

Hey, this time it's for real.

"Claire!" The small blonde Australian is hugged enthusiastically by a small manic pyro. "Where have you been? People have been lookin' for you!"
no subject
no subject
"But... you said you'd never go back. At least, that you didn't want to go back. But... alright, start over, from the top."
no subject
no subject
"And it never occured to you to get help before tromping off into the wilds? Or leaving a note, perhaps?"
no subject
She pauses, and then,

She bites her lip for a moment, thinking, but eventually the pensive look turns back into the bright, beaming smile. Claire has news.
no subject
Semi-patiently.
Alright, not patiently at all.
"What?"
