Lilly is around about the bar, talking to people, but she'd be easy to stop if you needed to, say, find out what category of life you were in. Or what karaoke was. Or the beautiful story of Kooshbert Junior finding a home. Whatever.

[Summary: Lilly and Nathan go off to have casual sex. Really, that's it.]

"That was a cute sign you made. You a good singer?"

Please say no. Please?

Lilly shrugs.

"I think I am when I'm drunk," she offers, smiling. "Does that count?"

"Hey me too. Look at that." He gives her a grin and laughs. "But since the bar won't let me get drunk...I don't think I'll be participating. Hope that won't let you down too much."

Lilly pouts.

"You're really not going to come? I'm sure we can sneak you drinks somehow, and even if not, there's going to be non-karaoke stuff too. Music, dancing, a solo by the squid in the lake... you really don't want to miss it."

"Awww, don't pout at me. I didn't see I wouldn't come and laugh at people. I just won't sing."

He reaches out, using a finger to flirtatiously pull down on her bottom lip.

Between his words and his actions, Lilly does stop pouting. It turns out that cute boys are flirting with her is a really great cure for that.

"Well, if you're coming, then I don't have to pout," she replies, smiling. "And you don't have to sing, but you do have to bring a date and at least make an attempt to look like a pirate."

"Of course I'll be there. I'd really like to come." He smirks at her. "And how can I bring a date when the girl I want to take is in charge of the whole thing?"

Lilly smiles at him, head-tilted.

"Well, due to a shortage of dead girls, I'm the 'date' for a few people. I'm sure I could bring one more person, if they promised to dance with me."

"Sorry babe, I don't do that sort of thing. I want to be the one guy. The most important guy. But I will dance with you. As long as it's fast and dirty. Unless you want to change your mind and come only with me." His intense eyes look into hers, daring her to say yes.

Lilly is tempted. Very tempted. But it's her party, and she made promises, and it's probably not a good idea anyway for any boy, no matter how hot, to be the only guy for a dead girl stuck in a bar at the end of the universe. She shakes her head.

"I'm sorry, Nate. I can't. I'd like to, but I can't. I already promised people, you know? But if you don't find someone else to go with, you can tell them you're my date to get in. You still have to come, because I *am* holding you to that dance."

"I bet you can move really well." His hands move to her hips, pulling her towards him. "You should give me a sample now."

Lilly smiles provocatively up at him, taking a step closer and wrapping her arms around her neck. She stretches up towards him, still smiling.

"Sorry," Lilly breathes into his ear. "But if you want to see me dance, you have to come to my party."

"How about we go have our own private party upstairs?" A one night stand. That's what he could use. And he knew he and Lilly could still be friends if they did it.

Lilly arches an eyebrow, and winds her fingers into his hair.

"I'd be up for that, yeah. You cool with it being a casual thing?"

"Oh very much so." His hands slide down over her ass and he pulls her closer still, leaning down and pressing his lips down on hers hungrily. He needed this. No strings, just sex...

Lilly wraps her arms even more tightly around his neck, she's practically on her toes but the way he's kissing her she doesn't care.

"My room's upstairs," she murmurs against his lips. Nathan nods but doesn't stop kissing her and in the next second he's lifted her off the ground as they make their way to the stairs...
