A wizard staggers awkwardly down the stairs, gripping a staff with white knuckles. He glares around the bar, angry, confused, and just a little scared.

Tiki, of course, has been watching, fearing mean Puck to do something. And so now she flies over, somewhat frantic.

"Lady, Lady! I saw and I was worried and, and...

What can I do???

Can I help you??"

Nevermind that The Nice "Lady" is not really a Lady. Tiki knows it's The Nice Lady in there. That's not changed, despite how it looks. So, she calls her "Lady."

Eska reels around to face Tiki.

"What..." her voice sounds so wrong. Too deep, scratchy, alien... "I can't undo it. Is this faerie magic?"

Puck.

Tiki ignores the voice, although she does kind of inwardly cringe.

"...Faerie magic? No. I mean, I've never seen faerie magic like this. And a faerie wouldn't do this to you. Only The Queen is this mean. And The Queen doesn't care about humans.

Only..."

Tiki gasps.

"Only if The Queen was here and knew that you are my friend and that you protect me."

"It's wrong," Eska insists. "It's horrid and it's heavy and it doesn't feel right. Could she have done it?"

"It is wrong," Tiki agrees, nodding.

"And she might've. I'm really not sure what she can do. She has unlimted power, a lot of hatred, and she's very cruel."

Voice trembling a bit, "Have you seen any wasps around here?"

"There might be some outside," Eska says, irritably. "I don't know, I haven't looked, I can't feel them. I can't feel anyone..." a note of panic rises in her voice.

Guppy glances over from where he is at the bar with a small flamingo.

"Are you Eska, or did you steal her hat?"

Eska turns round frantically to face him.

"Guppy," she says, her voice raspy and hoarse. "It's me."

"Shh...You don't understand.

Wasps are a sign of The Queen. She never goes anywhere without them. Her thone is made out of wasps. That is why faeries are so terrified of them.

If there are wasps, The Queen is here. They wouldn't be outside, because The Queen had to be inside to do this to you - if she did.

She might've even had the wasps do her work for her. I don't know. I don't know how her magic works."

He stares for a second, then realises that's very impolite.

"Sorry. Didn't realise you could...er... change like that. Are you okay?"

"I haven't seen any wasps," Eska says. Was there something else?

"What about that other one? The one who we know is here?"

"I can't," she snaps. "I wouldn't. What's the point? This has been done to me."

"Yes.

He was my first thought, but then you mentioned faeries.

Either way, we need to figure out what happened and fix it."

He jumps a little as she snaps.

Well how was I supposed to know?

"This is Milliways, Eska. I don't know what you can and can't do. I'm sorry. Do you know how it happened?" he asks, slightly timidly, expecting to get his head bitten off again, but casually as if asking a patient exactly how they managed to superglue themselves to a door handle.

"He is a faerie," Eska says. "A different kind of one.

"I should be able to tap into my morphogenice field and turn back. It should be easy, but I can't find it..."

"I know it's Milliways. I haven't lost my mind as well as my body. And I don't know what happened. I changed in the middle of a conversation."

"I wasn't suggesting you had." he says hastily, wondering if there is any way to be helpful and/or supportive to Esk without making her cross.
"Were you thinking about being...er... different?"

"...he can't be a faerie." Tiki shakes her head firmly.

"Can't find it?

Um. Do you have any of your powers?"

"No, I was thinking about being Bound. Prospero and I were talking about..." her voice trails off. "I'm Bound because this was going to happen?"

"He is," Eska contradicts her, and repeats: "Just a different kind."

She stretches our a hand and a ball of octarine fire bursts out, changing colours rapidly before Eska extinguishes it.

"Yes," she says.

Tiki frowns, refusing to believe it, but deciding not to argue.

Then she jumps back and then stares at the fire show.

"Ooooh.

Scary.

And pretty."

He thinks about it.
"Well what would happen if you went back into your world like that? If the Bar knew this was going to happen, she might have done it for your own good. Do you have someone else's body, or has yours just changed?" he asks, glancing at the flamingo.
"Because the other day Mitzi here switched bodies with me, but that was only for a few minutes."

"I'm still a wizard," she says, "I just don't seem to be a withc anymore..."

"I'm not Borrowing," Eska says, still irritable. "I wouldn't Borrow a human. This is my body. The last half hour of excruciating pain would confirm that."
