*He looks around on either side of her before raising an eyebrow at her.*

Look...I know what you are and you know what I am. You've told me the rules and you've shown me the claws. Now...are you going to stake me or are you going to lighten up a little?

*He smiles.*

I mean, as far as I've heard from you, just popping up here isn't a crime...

"This is me light," she assures him. "Just lettin' you know the Rules. Bar's sentient, an' I think she gives out a blood subistute or somethin'. As you're dusted, you're probably bound, so you'll need a room, which she can give ya.

Are there a lot of slayers here? Last thing I need now is confrontation, I'm not in the mood for it.

Well, originally New England, 1819 but I was just died in Los Angeles, 2001 at the age of 182.

I suppose I did at least out live the rest of the puritans from 1819.

*he laughs*

"Twenty," she supplies, puzzled, her smile fading a little in curiosity.

Have you been a slayer for long?

"Had the strength s'long as I can remember," she says idly. "Started actually Slayin' about a year ago."

*he laughs*

I take it you're not bound, as you still slay and there's no violence here.

Mel blinks at him. "Dental plan?

"Actually I am Bound. Have been for two months. I don't Slay in here. When I get out, I'm takin' it back up."

Oh..that's surprizing. What happened to get you bound?

*he looks at her curiously*

"Nothin' happened. Sometimes you're Bound, sometimes you're not. I was just thrown in here at the end of a fight. When the door opens again, I'll get back to my city."

"I have a sister," she says. "She doesn't come in here."
