*walks in, looking a bit tired, and sets a small stack of coins on the bar; smiles as he sees that it's cleared what's left of his tab and even added a bit of credit*
Tavern-spirit, if I ask you for a glass of the first wine I ever tasted, do you understand?
*a glass of wine appears; Glorfindel takes a sip and laughs*
Thank you, spirit. This is exactly it. Possibly the worst wine known to my people.
[OOC: I am re-entering because I left abruptly last time to go drink with band geeks. Am really here this time. Really.]

why is it so bad?

This? It is merely a very poor wine, something that one drinks when one is young and knows no better.
I am Glorfindel, at your service, my lady.

I'm Ginny, Kind sir.. What is wine like?

You have not tasted wine? Unless you are younger than you seem, that is most strange... I am sorry. It would be strange, were this my world.
*considers how best to describe it*
... good wine, or this wine?

All wine is somewhat sweet and somewhat bitter. Some wines are sweeter, some more bitter; this particular wine is far too sweet, almost sickly. Those who are inexperienced often prefer it because the sweetness covers the flavor of the liquor.
In my world, a mortal of fifteen years would most likely know ale better than wine.

ohh I understand..what is ale? sorry if i am Bothering you with these Questions

Do you know what beer is? I have far less knowledge of either than I have of wine, but I do know that the two are similar.

*looks her up and down*
It seems to me, my lady, that you are at an age that balances upon the edge. It is as easy to imagine a land where a woman of fifteen years is expected to take a husband as one where a girl of fifteen years still lives under the protection of her father's house.
... My lady, I fear I must leave on a brief errand. If fortune is with me, I will return before the night is out.
*bows, and leaves*

Unless I'm very much mistaken, you're elven-kind. I know by the look of you.

I am, lord. Glorfindel, once of Rivendell, at your service.

Everything exists somewhere...
I am Crowley. Glorfindel, once of Rivendell, I need your help.

My lord, I hardly dare ask, but what battle awaits you that you have need of a hauberk of mithril? There has not been need of such armor among my people for many lives of men, but if the need of it is great, I can provide it.

*hesitates; when he speaks, it is softly*
I do not know what I could ask for, lord. Survive your battle, and we shall speak of it then.

Still, my thanks again, lord Glorfindel.
I... would ask that you not speak of this. To anyone.

... Unless time moves differently here than outside, as I have reason to believe it does. But I will bring it to you as quickly as I can.

I think it is best that I go now, lord. The difference in time may affect my return, and I fear that I may be delayed by others in my own land. I will return as soon as I may.
*stands, downs the last sip of his wine, and leaves the bar*
