Shelley is in the bar. At the bar, in fact, contemplating a drink Bar gave her.

It is purple and fizzy, and meant to be vaguely alcoholic. She would be drinking it... but it's just so pretty!

[OOC: Asmodean shows up and plays Music of the Night (which is creepy in itself) before enchanting Shelley's drink and taking it a bit too far. Then Asar-Suti stops by and he and Shelley turn out to have a lot in common when it comes to drinks.]

Shelley grins and considers.

"Well... I mostly drink coffee, but tea is comforting because I grew up with it. Chocolate is always wonderful. Usually wine. But beer is okay too."

She shrugs. "...I'm not fussy when it comes to drink. How about you?"

"Pretty much the same, apart from where the only beer I really like is Guiness; Charlie gave me some on that Erinnish, erm, Irish holiday in spring," he answers.

"Guinness is rather nice," she agrees, idly sipping purple fizziness.

"See - similar taste," he grins.

And yes, the purple fizziness is very nice.

"I must ask Eddie to invent a mixed drink that represents my magic, or perhaps makes a joke about it," Asar-Suti then muses.

Shelley laughs.

"I did that once - well, made up a drink for one of my friends. Not that either of us needed any more at the time... But it tasted very good, I remember..."

Asar-Suti laughs as well. "At a certain stage, all drinks taste good," he said. "But Eddie's a barkeeper; he does that professionally. I beta-drank a few things for him the other day."

"Now that's a good job to have. Beta-drinking," she says thoughtfully.

She may be getting ideas.
