Susan comes in through the lake door and goes up to one end of the bar, smiling.
Shortly afterwards, she's settled on the couch by the fireplace with white tea and an orange, and a little bit of bread and cheese-- and looks content.
[Susan and Kitty talk about their respective worlds' view of mutations, then go for a walk in the air, and finally discuss Derry and discover something they have in common; Susan has a brief conversation with Anthy about horses and riding; and Desire shares fruit, and they talk about children-- Derry and Meg and children in general. It's possibly worth noting that Desire seems fairly interested in this conversation... (slowtimed).]

Desire doesn't seem to have it in mind to specifically talk to Susan -- but the Endless is meandering awfully close to her seat with that treat.

Susan looks up at him and smiles.
"Good day, sai Desire. Long days and pleasant nights."

"Thankee-sai-- it's thoughtful of ye, say true."
no subject
"Tch." Desire eyes the fruit, and sets the knife aside. "Not bad. I still prefer Bernard's creation -- but it would seem the Bar has decreed it is too early for a wet georgia peach, even for me. How do'ee fare, Sue?"
no subject
"I'm well -- well enough, say true." A breath, and something strikes her-- Susan looks up at Desire and tells him, "Yer-- she'd be yer niece, I wot?-- she's very dear."
no subject
Desire doesn't really spend much time with babies, now that it's brought up: Sure, they have wants, but they're so simple. Eat, sleep, play, demand attention.
... Sounds a bit like Desire, doesn't it?

Susan beams at him. "She is, say true-- a dear berry, and no question. I were glad to help look after her for a little."

"Aye, and I'm pleased with them, and with the stables entire," she says, smiling. "And I'm glad ye like him too-- ye did well when ye rode him before."

"Without being shot at?" She blinks, then nods. "She were very dear-- 'Bert adored her too, and didn't mind that his coffee were mango juice."
Beat. "Blue mango juice."
no subject
She's very good at covering injuries, by now.
"So, tendency to get shot at. Or have explosions go off, or such, but being shot at annoys me a bit more.
Kitty laughs then. "Oh, hell, I meant to warn you about that. She does the same to me. I don't think she thinks coffee can taste very good. Either that or she's a mischievous little thing. Or both."
no subject
She sobers, then, looking at Kitty. "Aye-- I kennit." Simply said, and no more than that.
no subject
She nod, and looks at Susan for a moment, then the bar in general. "Many people here seem to. More than in my world, anyway."
no subject
"Aye-- ye're not the only one with -- with such a profession here, I wot."
