Enter one avatar, materializing at the bar in search of some food. Which takes its time in coming, confusing him somewhat. No matter, when the food doesn't show up, he simply produces his own.

He looks around, hoping to catch someone to talk to. No sword-practice today.

*Penny has just come through the door, she spent the weekend at home and is thinking very much of going back again. But she sees Cole so she walks over. She's not a happy girl.*

Hey, Cole.

"Hey, Penny." He gives her a rough smile, which turns town when he notices her face. "Something wrong?"

Yeah, well no, I just came in to get some stuff I needed but left here. I went ack home for the weekend things just got a little crazy here and I didn't want anymore problems.

*she sighs*

"Things have been a little strange around lately. I've considered going back home myself." Of course, that might cause a whole different sort of trouble.

"Anything specific been troubling you?" Like, perhaps, a little girl who happens to see you as a Demon still?

Well, home wouldn't be permenant for me, but it's a lot easier to deal with. I met one of my exboyfriend's friend from the past and I got kinda jealous and uppity and said a bunch of stuff I shouldn't have said. Figured it was better to just go beack to San Diego till everything's been straightened out and I can go live with Ares.

*no one thinks she's a demon but people are making her think she's the same girl who screwed over her ex and if she scrwed over one boyfriend she could screw over wargod fiance*

"Ah. Jealousy. Something I've had too much experience with myself." He shakes his head. "That does sound like a good idea. Would he be able to follow you there?"

Yeah, well she jealous of me too, but still...

I have no idea if he can follow me, you'd think h e could do whatever he wants being a god and all but I still have my job here and probably should leave all my friends... so I'll probably still be around just in hiding cause I have no clue what my jealous blabbing will lead to.

"You think you might alienate Ares? Or are you worried of causing damage to your ex-boyfriend?"

"If you really feel that you need to take a break from here, I could cover for you while you're gone."

The girl seemed kind angry when I left. I don't blame her in the least
but I don't want to be in the middle of something. I've done that once before with Ares and my ex, my ex got hurt pretty bad. Also the girl seemed to be jealous so I told her she should tell my ex how she felt... One more thng I'm gonna feel responsible for if it went wrong.

*she frowns*

He chuckles. "Good luck. Most people find themselves in the middle most of the time. But you shouldn't feel responsible. She should be honest anyways. And if she is, I don't see how you would be responsible for anything going wrong."

Well, you figure my ex is a ninja and has violent tendencies and my fiance is a war god who is gonna protect me no matter what. and I just don't want anyone getting hurt because of what I did. Especially since my ex's new girl friend is not to be messed with and if Ares hurts Raph again... it won't end well...

"So they've gone at it before. And you're worried your ex will try to go after him again. Have you talked to him about it?"

The first time it happened was just after I started dating Ares. Raph got angry cause parted on bad terms and he played a joke on me but used Ares as a tool. Ares got pissed. The matter was fixed but pretty much when ever Raph is involved Ares is on the defense.

"Hmmm. Sounds like this isn't the sort of thing to blow over quickly. How long until you plan to go to Ares' world?"

Absolutely no idea, cause he want to take me to Olympus, so there is a lot to be done before I'd be allowed to go to Olympus... And he is still coming in very infrequently...

"I suppose there's not much you can do about how regularly he frequents here. But maybe you could find out what it is he needs to do for you to go there and help him out. Has he told you?

Well, he said something about going to Olypus first to get things straightened and if that's the case I can not help. I think it's a mortality thing to be quite honest, but he hasn't told me much.

Cole nods. "If I remember my mythology right, only the immortals were allowed on Olympus. And I only know of one mortal that actually attained it, and it wasn't a very happy existence for him afterwards."

"I'll look around and see if there's anything I can find to help, though. Being able to go anywhere and anywhen has its perks."

Yeah that is what it says in the mythology, so I am only guessing he already has something up his sleeve. None of his family have been in for me to ask them. I'm gonna go through with it though. We've been through too much for me to stop now.

"I also can't think of a better place to be, surrounded by the Gods. Not to mention the view from the summit. I'll bet it's amazing."

I'll have to let you know.

*she grins*

"Not at all. It's a sight better than the face you were wearing earlier."

*she nods and takes her hand down*

I like this face better too, just feel kinda sappy, is all.

"That's okay." He winks. "Sappy's a good look for you."

*she grins*
