There's been a minor miracle in the kitchens today.

It may be because fate was smiling on Milliways. It may be because with today's specials Baldrick really knows what he's doing. It may be because the rats set up a small shrine and prayed to whichever god might possibly have been listening. It may be because Baldrick not only ate nothing dodgy for lunch, not only got a good night's sleep and is therefore alert and ready for action, but even took extra care to read the instruction manual before using the thermo-industrial super-speed food processor. It may even have been that he managed to talk himself out of putting small plastic novelties in the Cornish Pasties.

Whatever the reason, absolutely nothing has gone wrong in the kitchens tonight, and Baldrick has therefore not only prepared a mouth-watering selection of pasties for dinner specials, but is here ready to take your order. And with Bar serving very slowly at the moment, ordering from him might be a good idea.
