Faith comes in from outdoors, looking quietly pleased, and acquires dinner and coffee, then curls up in front of the fireplace.

Tomorrow, there will be blood and violence and possibly all manner of woe. Tonight...tonight was good.

As Alain would say, it is well.

"Enhanced speed, strength, senses, reflexes, healing powers, prophetic dreams," Faith rattles off for what has to be the thousandth time.

Tiffany doesn't have those.

"I wonder if there are any on the Chalk." She looks thoughtful. "I think I would have known, by now."

"We're pretty specialized, I think," Faith says with a shrug. "You probably have better ways of dealing with things in your world."

Tiffany nods. "We have witches. Witches deal with things, even vampires."

She glances at the door. "And I should go back, now. Good day."
