Baldrick and Wolf wheel out the massive BBQ to the lakeside. All the traditional 4th July foods are here: apart from an incredible selection of meats, there's corn on the cob, baked beans, watermelon...
He leaves a huge notice in the bar directing people outside for BBQ dinner specials.
"OK GUYS! BBQ TIME! What'll it be?"
[ooc: Baldrick-mun is not here, but Wolf-mun is!]

But he's being very moderate about it.
For Wolf.

"Hi, Wolf," she says with a smile. "I haven't seen you in ages."
no subject
Wolf looks a little sheepish, but remarks, "I've just been keeping myself busy in the kitchens... And trying to help Virginia," he adds.
"Do you want something to eat?" he asks brightly.
no subject
"Sure, I'd love something. What've you got?" After a thoughtful pause, she adds, "Who's Virginia?"
no subject
"Oh! She's my scrumptious, savory, wonderful, beautiful, absolutely magnificent
ma-fiance!"no subject
"How about starting with a hot dog?" she says.
She smiles, again about to laugh at the descriptors. "Fiancee? Good for you. I'll have to meet her sometime."
no subject
No, he's not biased in the least.
no subject
She grins; she'd normally be a little more skeptical of such openly romantic sentiments, but Wolf's enthusiasm is infectious. "I'll bet."
She takes a bite. Mmmm. It's been a long time since she's had a hot dog.
"Other than that, how've you been?" she asks. "This is great, by the way."
no subject
"Good!" Yeah. That's it. He's been completely happy, and not worrying about his mate not wanting the cub, or a madman out to kill him and his family and friends. Yes. He's just fine.
"I learned what pizza was, the other day."

Good evening, Wolf. How have you been?
no subject
"Wonderful! I get to do a lot in the kitchen now, and I've been helping Virginia, too. And reading cookbooks. I like to experiment with recipes. Would you like something?"
Because food is the universal happiness. In Wolf's eyes, anyways.
no subject
Wonderful news. If your work in the kitchen has been anything like our wedding reception, they're lucky to have you.
*she looks to the grill. Her mouth's starting to water, too*
Certainly. What do you have?
no subject
Wolf looks up, bright again. "Just about anything that you're supposed to eat at a bbq, and some things that your not. Ribs, chicken, hamburgers, sausages, hot-dogs, steak, and we could probably make kabobs or some other food, if it was grillable."
no subject
I think I'll have the chicken. Millie . . . *a glance to her daughter, who has managed to mangle and finish off the hot dog already* perhaps a couple hamburgers, no bun, and break them up a bit?
*she glances to where Wade is drifting over the grill, enjoying the wafting smell of the barbacue*
And I think Wade will just help himself.
no subject
Wade... bemuses Wolf. He's looking up at the air-baby, and just sort of staring, with "I am confused" stamped on his forehead.
no subject
Wade isn't substantial enough to have solid food, so normally he has nutrient-eniched compressed air from Bar; the scent of the barbacue would be enough for him.
*Snow takes the plates with a smile and sets Millie's down before starting on her own*

He's got the day off, working for the Justice System of America.
So he's good with some literal beef, instead.
"Great spread you've got here. Anything for the dog?"
Judge, who does wnat in on the attention, whines a little.
no subject
"Hey," he says, eyeing the dog. "I may have an extra hot dog or two, if your buddy there is interested?"
no subject
"Can I get you anything?" Wolf politely asks Campbell.

"And this is Judge, and the two of you are his new best friends."
Judge, meanwhile, is busily inspecting away at the burger, then looks up at Wolf curiously. Mine?
no subject
He looks down at Judge, and nods, tail wagging. ""Yes. All yours. And probably more, if Campbell says so.""
Wolf looks back up at the two men, and smiles. "Pleased to meet you! I'm Wolf."
no subject
He beams. "It's always a pleasure to meet someone who feeds me. Where are you from, Wolf?"

Baldrick provides the fries in soon enough time. Root vegetables are his forte, dontcha know.
"Well, it's always a pleasure to feed someone!" And he really does mean it. "I'm from the Nine Kingdoms. You?"
