Random's at the bar, looking tired.
Which isn't suprising, given the circumstances.
He's eating a cinnamon bun. Or rather, picking at a cinnamon bun.

Oh look there he goes, spinning in circles right past random's stool. He would probably be quite embarrassed if anyone noticed.
It's a good thing he realizes quickly what he's doing and slinks away to hide again. Unfortunately he picks the wrong stool. 'Hello feet.'

"Jesus Christ. You're a dog."
His psychic powers are weird in the morning. They pick up random facts and small Canadian radio stations.

His voice is that of a military commander. It demmands reactions.
"What the hell happened to you?"

"And do you have any idea how you get to turn back? Is it a time thing, or do we need to find Gorlim and get him to kiss you?"
He blinks.
"And why the hell did someone turn you into a dog?"
His eyebrows shoot into his hairline.
"Were you flirting with the hermaphrodite man again?"
no subject
'I didn't get to ask about the whole turning back thing. I didn't exactly expect to be a dog.' He ignores the comment about Gorlim.
'As for why, I really don't want to talk about it, but your guess is not far off.'
no subject
He smiles encouragingly.
"It's bound to wear off some time. It's simply a matter of if it's keyed to an action to release it, or if it's just got to wear itself out. Magic's easy, once you get the swing of it."

He pulls his feet up onto the stool.
"So. Again. Why was someone pissed off enough by your flirting with them that they turned you into a dog?"
no subject
'I only bite when asked Random.' He grins, showing quite a few small pointy teeth.
'And it wasn't the fellow I flirted with that did it.'
no subject
He thinks for a moment.
"Human or Fae or other?"
no subject
'Uh one of those, yes.' He's not going to make this easy.

"Hello, Milady Mercury. It's been a while."
no subject
"Did I scare you?" She asks curiously. "It has..how have you been? You look less..damaged"
no subject
"I'm doing fairly well."
no subject
"Thats good to hear" She smiles at him and tilts her head "Whats been going on?"

"Yes. Yes, I can honestly say I am."
He looks concerned.
"What about you? Are you coping?"
no subject
She pauses and shrugs "I'm alright." She's surviving. She's lonely, and worried but she's still living.
no subject
He grins.
"It helps. I promise, it does."
no subject
She nods "But I've been thinking about actually leaving the bar..going outside.."
no subject
He looks puzzled.
"Or outside like 'Merredith's Home' outside?"
He thinks.
"If it's the lake you're worried about, I'll happily escort you."
His hand falls to the sword on his belt.
