Chase is curled up in the corner of a booth, swinging his feet and staring intently at the floor, lost in thought.

Come distract him! He promises not to be all monosyllabic and depressing.

Ryan's walks by, for whatever reason, and takes a quick look at the booth's occupant.

Once he recognizes who it is, he looks away and hopes that Chase doesn't remember Audrey. At all.

Thankfully, he doesn't remember Audrey, but he's glanced up from the floor just in time to notice she-Ryan looking at him.

"Uh, hi. Can I help you with something?" She does look familiar.

He smiles. "No, thank you. I'm fine. Just ... looking around."

"Oh, okay," he says distractedly.

"You new here?"

"No... I'm not, Chase," he says in a weary tone. There was no point in keeping up the charade if yesterday had taught him anything.

He sighs. "It's me. Ryan." God, he hopes Chase has already talked to Tony.

"Aw, shit." He really, really does not feel up to talking to Ryan right now, male or female.

"Yeah," he says with a sigh.

"Well, now you know."

"Yeah. Tony told me yesterday." That's really the least of what Chase is concerned about right now, truth be told.

Really, what do you say to a person when you've recently found out that they've been whacked by your future father-in-law, you're just now remembering how utterly mean and nasty you were to them before they died, and they just happen to have sprouted a pair of unsupported breasts since you last saw them?

"So." Staring at the floor. "...how are you?"

At least Tony outed him first, he would have felt stupid if he told Chase for nothing.

"Well, aside from the fact that I'm now the opposite gender and forced to wear a dress...actually, that's not even the worst part of the past few weeks. So, nevermind."

"Yeah. That, uh, that would definitely suck." Whoa awkward. He's a little afraid to ask what the worst part of Ryan's past few weeks has been. "I really don't know what I'd do if someone tried to make me wear a dress."

Ryan blinks at him for a few moments. "The bar made you wear a toga for a week."

And then the light bulb goes on. "Oh, right. You don't remember that."

"...no, I don't..." And he thinks he would have liked to have kept it that way, but c'est la vie.

"Does stuff like that happen a lot around here?" he asks nervously.

He thinks for a minute. "The bar has a sense of humor and you pissed her off somehow. It's as bad as pissing off some of the magical residents."

After a moment he adds. "You know Nina Myers and Stephen Saunders are in the bar right?"

He sits upright, horrified. "Saunders is here?"
