After her morning with the peroxide and cotton balls, as well as a bowl of insanely sugary cereal, Sarah had gone home.
But now she was back, and apparently in a better mood than she'd been in when she left. There was no way the tiny calico kitten perched on her shoulder and playing with the feathers in her hair had anything to do with it.
Sure, just the same way that there was no chance at all that the kitten's name was 'Squeaky'
Nope, totally not Squeaky.
She seems sociable at least this afternoon, with a plate of zucchini chips and a glass of orange soda, mostly ignored in favor of teasing the kitten with one of the feathers in her hair.

Asar-Suti turns up beside her.

"He's Roxy's. She's out of town so I get to babysit." Another almost smile, setting him on the table where he sat, head tilted, tail curled around his paws, looking like some furry statue of a cat more than an actual cat.

"I love cats - I sometimes shape-shift into one as well. Yesterday, I enjoyed being a tiger for a while - I hadn't been for quite some while."

Sarah half smiled, she'd always been fond of cats as well, "This is Mr. Squeaky Cricket Fuzzypaws the Third. We just call him Squeak."

Also, the effects the Bloof of the Seker has on cats has never been studied. You wouldn't want a magical, slightly purple, cat?
"Cute!" Asar-Suti breathes.

Sarah laughed again, shaking her head, "He's like this normally, he hasn't had any catnip or anything." She couldn't resist ruffling that fuzzy little belly either. Because it was there, and fuzzy.
(ooc: Yar, and mun must return to work, should probably be on again in three-ish hours. )

Whee, kitten!

Squeak soon grew tired of that game as well however and went back to attempting to catch the feathers in Sarah's hair.

"How many people are there in your team, though?" he then asks Sarah. "So far, you had only mentioned a few names."

She blinked up at Asar-Suti's question, "Oh, um, me, and Roxanne, Roxy, Freefall, she can change gravity around. Grunge, who's really Percival Edmund Chang, but Grunge suits him better, he can take on the mollecular structure of anything he touches. Caitlin Fairchild, she's our leader, super strong, super resistant, tall. Amazon woman basically. Bobby, Burnout, he's a human torch, does stuff with fire that is just unbelievable." A slight smile then, "Mr. Lynch is his father, and he's our... well our boss technically, he's the one who helped us escape."

"International Operations. Mr. Lynch was one of their agents, part of the Gen 12 project. Gen 13, the team I'm part of, is a follow up to that, we're their children." A shrug, finally letting Squeak chew the tip of the feather a moment, "They were attempting to make us into supersoldiers."
