A Navy soldier was in the bar.
He'd been there for a while, but he'd been off to himself. Out in the woods, actually, roughing it, and figuring things out. Kind of amazing, though, having a real roof overhead. But that didn't quite jive with what he was doing - hand-sewing patches into his old uniform.
