Andres is in the bar sitting in a booth in a corner. His chin is resting in one hand and hes staring out the window. The Complete Works of Shakespeare is sitting near his elbow, unopened, and there is a piece of creased parchment laying on the table in front of him. Frequently he looks away from the window and takes a drink. Occasionally he rubs his forehead as if he as a headache, and even more occasionally, he glances at the parchment and scowls.
Despite this, he is in a decent mood, if slightly worried. Go ahead and visit.

"Come on," he says gently. "You shouldn't go so long without eating. Just have a little bit of waffle. Please?"

"So what have you kept yourself busy with, other than worrying needlessly?"
no subject
"I haven't had time to keep myself busy with anything," he says, with a hint of dry amusement. "I just saw you about twelve hours ago."

He takes another bite of waffle. "Mercutio's teaching me how to fence," he says offhandedly. He doesn't mention that he's really bad at it.

*grin*
How's it going so far?" He doesn't have to mention. Andres will ask

"It's, uh..." He considers lying. "I'm clumsy as hell. Given that, it's going as well as can be expected."

*Shrug*
"Don't worry too much about being clumsy. Keep it up and you will be able to fence and potentially lose the clumsiness." *Smile* "So is Mercutio any good?"

He contemplates, taking a sip of orange juice. "Yeah, of course Mercutio's good. I mean, compared to me, anyone is, but he's been doing it for years."

"There's a guy I knew before I came here who offered to practice with me if I learned how to fence," he muses, remembering. "Not like that, though."

Considering that Paul was in a wheelchair just before the last time Castle saw him, this kind of says a lot about Castle's self-confidence.

He considers asking whether Mercutio had mentioned meeting him, but can't figure out why he's curious.

"I've just learned the basic stance and some footwork. I've only had one lesson."

"Besides, I informed you from the start, that I'd practice with you once you knew basics, but I did not want to be the one to teach them." "I'm sure he appreciates the chance anyway." He says while yawning again.
[ooc:Time to go home from work. bb in 30 - 60 mins.]

"Well, it'd be nice if you guys could actually get along, but it's none of my business if you can't." He shrugs.
"Well, okay. Once I can manage the basics without falling on my ass and dropping the sword, I'll take you up on that."

"Why should I have to set you up to be friends with Mercutio? He's not an easy guy to distance. He'd be good practice for you." He finishes the waffle, though the quarter he'd offered to Andres is still intact.
[OOC: Can Andres and Castle talk in a different thread sometime before 11:00? Castle's been talking to Mercutio about certain things that were and were not said, y'see. *grin*]
