Quite close to a first entrance...
Christian has developped a serious writer's block. Having hidden in his room for ages, trying to write and trying to forget the sad incidents, he is completely unaware of the illness and the quest. He comes down from his room and doesn't even discern the tension in the room. He turns to the bar to have his fill of absinthe. Maybe he will meet the green fairy, or, even better, forget.

She wasn't judging in any way, just stating the obvious as she was prone to doing here and there.

"It sure is. That's why I've chosen it."
His gaze drops to the writing on her t-shirt and as the meaning dawns on him he looks as if he was close to crying.
[OOC: Sorry, I somehow forgot about this thread last night]

She arched a brow, just slightly, honestly, she'd chosen the shirt to tell people off for making assumptions, without actually saying anything to them.
It worked marvelously really. She smiled slightly at the response however, nodding, "Not much compared to applemash whiskey though, if you've ever tried it."
Oh yes, fruit-grain bootleg hooch, wonderful stuff in small doses.

Oh yes, she can hold her drink, and better than most girls her size. Probably has something to do with the freaky weather powers.

He looks at the empty glass like a pawnbroker might. Then he actually turns and looks her in the face.
"It's good. And it's nice to see no little apples flying around when you drink it."
His language is already a little affected, so she's not really sure if he said just that.

She had never, ever, been that drunk, except once, but that didn't count because it was entirely Grunge's fault. But she still hadn't seen flying apples.
( *giggle* *mun points out name* So totally not Storm. )

Then it dawns on him. He nearly would have smiled one of his bitter smiles, but that's not the night for it.
"No. Never. But the stuff I was drinking before, the green one- sometimes, when you drink enough of it, you see green fairies. And other things. He shrugs. As this is called applemash whiskey, I thought something similar could happen, maybe involving apples."
[OOC: Sorry, I don't know Storm well enough to get your joke... X-Men (that's it, isn't it?) is a canon I haven't cought up with so far- I have only watched the movies and she wasn't in them, was she? I only had eyes for Logan *g*]

( heh, Storm is from X-men, yes, Sarah is not, she's from a lesser-known comic series under the Image/Wildstorm label: Gen13. Hence, 'I am not Storm')

"How about you?"
(sorry, HP got in the way and I had to check on your canon. Sounds interesting. I'll look out if I can read some)
