[OOM: A most curious door...]
Angela Edmunds toddles into the bar, looking all around.
There are many grownups. None of them look like Mommy or Daddy. Angela's big blue eyes take in much.
The pretty stars are disappearing outside the big window.
Angela sticks her fingers in her mouth uneasily.
She doesn't know where she is. This isn't her room.
She stands there, looking around curiously, not very frightened yet.
But she is, a little.

He's singing softly to himself. The man is wearing black.

She comes over to the piano, fingers in mouth, and just watches the man in black play.

"Good evening, little one."
He glanced around for parents.

"Hi."

"Do you have a name, little lady?"
no subject
She doesn't know where Mommy and Daddy are. This is Not Good.

"A pleasure meeting you, Lady Angela."
He pauses.
"Is there someone here with you?"

"Oh, so you did."
He thinks.
"I can watch you for a bit. I am called Jasin Natael."

She wonders why Mommy and Daddy aren't here. They should be, because this is their house. Maybe this is where they go when they go "out".

"Would you like to play the piano with me?"
no subject
This is much bigger than her toy piano.

"Here you go, Lady Angela."

This is normally where one of her parents would say, "Be gentle, Angela."

Asmodean just smiled, and nodded for her to continue.

But, of course, several keys at once is much more interesting.

"I can play with you, if you would like."

Making music is always better with company.
no subject
"Like this, Lady Angela?"

To Angela, the notes she's playing sound like they belong to the same song.

"Of course, it is Lady Angela... Beautiful music comes from the heart."
no subject
Maybe she does. Children, after all, know things adults forget.
