In a booth, Charlie is trying to feed Seth from a jar of crushed plums. Seth has several purple-ish blobs on his face, and has gotten very little of the fruit into his mouth. Woe.

Richard walks in with Joshua in his arms, sees Charlie, waves and walks over. He sits down and gives Joshua a bottle of pink formula. Joshua takes it and feeds greedily and eyes what Seth is eating.

What is that purple cack?

"Hey, Richard," Charlie says even though he can't understand him. "And hello to you, young Master Mayhew," he says to Joshua.

It's plums! It taste like . . . purple!

Joshua grins and flails and then goes back to feeding.

It looks bizarre. How do you drink it?

You don't--you eat it!

To prove his superiority he opens his mouth for the next spoonful.

"There you go!" Charlie says. "I knew you'd get hungry enough to try it eventually.

"Blabbity-blah to you too, Richard."

Joshua makes a face and Richard repositions and croons to him.

Yeuch! I'll stick with my formula. My Snake Brother made it for me!

Richard pulls out a package wrapped in newspaper and hands it to Charlie.

"Είναι ένα δώρο για το βαφτισιμιό μου."

"Er, thank you?" He unwraps the package and looks surprised at its contents: a soft rabbit-fur spread, baby-sized. "Richard . . . it's beautiful." He lifts it up so Seth can touch it with his cleaner hand. "Feel, Sethie, soft."

Seth's mouth O's in wonder. Soft!

Richard smiles and nods.

"Το Joshie συμπάθησε το τόσο πολύ σκεπτόμενο ι Seth του να

Joshua grins.

My Daddy makes the best things for us.

"Er, quite," Charlie says and spreads the blanket over Seth, after cleaning his hands and face with a baby wipe. Seth kicks his feet happily.

Soft! Pretty! Warm!

Richard beams at him and leans over and kisses Seth's head, and then Joshua's so he doesn't get jealous. Joshua coos and finishes his bottle and then starts squawking for his Ama.

"Λυπάμαι, πρέπει να πάμε τώρα. Ελπίζω ότι Seth απολαμβάνει το δώρο του."

He stands and collects Joshua and their things.

"Going, then? All right. Thank you for the blanket." He waves Seth's hadnd bye-bye. "See you, Joshie."
