Richard hasn't ventured out of his room. He's been afraid to. But...he's hungry. And thirsty. And...well, the walls are closing in on him.

So there's a Richard in the bar. Looking very bewildered. And hoping his sister isn't around, because she totally creeped him out the night he arrived.

Lock turns in front of Richard, blocking his path.

"Shock, have we figured out a way to make Joe alive yet?"

"No."

"Then how do we make him alive?"

"Magic?"

"How about we make him alive like how they make ghosts in a pumpkin."

Shock starts to answer, but her brother smiles from beneath his mask.

"Lock, you're a GENIUS!"

"I know. About time you figured it out."

Does Richard know how to make ghosts in a pumpkin?

Richard's eyes dart from one to the other of the triplets, and it takes one step back for him to hit the wall again. He locks his knees so he doesn't slide down the wall a second time.

"What...are you...gonna do...to me?"

"Give you new clothes!" Shocks shows Richard the pretty new shirt the other woman gave them. It's bright and it's got a hole burned in the armpit.

"Is that...Joe's shirt?" Richard gulps. His eyes dart around, so many people and no one paying any attention to what's going on in the corner.

"Your name can be Joe." All we would have to do is sew you up. And then you'll be Joe.

"I'm Richard." He protests, weakly.

"Not if you want to be Joe."

He's not sure he has a choice.

Going along with them may be the only way to appease them.

He nods slowly. "What do you want me to do?"

"We just need some needles and thread first. And pants. You want pants, right?"

"I have pants." His voice trembles.

"But your pants look stupid." Maybe they just need a burn hole. In the arm- wait. Where would a leg pit be?

"Um. The back of the knee?"

The Triplets *STARE* at Richard.

"What?"

He shakes his head, pulling himself out of some kind of trance.

"Um. I...don't know."

Richard has weird mind reading powers. Ooooo. Cool!

Lock continues to stare at Richard while edging toward him with his lighter lit.

Mesmerised by the flame, Richard's eyes lock in the lighter, followig it's light.

"Pretty isn't it?" Kindred spirits, Lock and Dicky.

Dicky nods. "Pretty."

"Want it on your hair?"

"Nooooo," he says, softly, without real protest.

"Ok. Then we won't set your hair on fire." Lock raises his hand to Richard's arm, softly snickering as the fire flicks and flairs.

His focus is on the flame, for a moment distracting him from the heat. Then... "Ow! Ow! Ow!" He's flapping his arms, wildly, trying to put the fire out, and get away.

From a conversation a short distance away, Moiraine glides swiftly over. The Aes Sedai is glowing with a golden light, and as she approaches she makes a slight gesture.

Soothing blue light flies from the tips of her fingers to wrap around the flame on the young man's arm, quenching it utterly.

"I would appreciate knowing exactly what is going on here."

Her tone is coldly displeased as she stares at the children.

"He said he doesn't want us to set his hair on fire. So, we set his clothes on fire." That's Barrel talking from behind his mask.

Richard is staring at the woman.

He opens his mouth, but there are no words.

He closes his mouth.

And stares.
