First Entrance Post: From the world of Thra...
A small, gnarled being enters Milliways. She is short, squat and dressed in a stained, wine-colored tunic. Curved, ram-like horns sweep out from the tangled grey hair hanging lankly from her head. One eye darts here an there. The other is gone. Only a burned out socket on that side of her head. She stops, puzzled. This is not where she is supposed to be. She had been about to enter her ruined home to see what she could salvage.
"What is this?" she asks in a gravely voice. "Where is this? This is not my home! Where has Aughra gotten to?"
Strange beings are scattered through the giant room. Not Gelfling. Not Podling. Not even Ur-Skek. She scowls as her eye looks over everything and is about to go back through the Door when...
...she catches sight of the viewing window.
"Dark moon of Thra!" she breathes as she gazes on the dying universe, more brilliant than a thousand Great Conjunctions. Almost in a trance, she walks to the window.
"This is something worth seeing!" Aughra says. "The End! The End of All!"
She chuckles. "Or the Beginning."

Causally, Aughra pops her eye out of its socket to take a better look.

"What are you? Not Gelfling. Not Podling." She smirks. "Certainly not Skeksis, Ur-ru or Ur-skek. What are you then? Hmmm?"

Quiet chants of "LIAR!" echo from behind Lock. So do snickers.

She leans over the little demon. "Careful about ruling. Skeksis ruled, then fell. Those who rule live under an Eye that never blinks. Never rests. And will one day consume them."

Will wonders never cease.

squealing fangirlishlyreading quietly, Sarah's Mun posts* )Sarah, as usual, was perched near the observation window, just watching the end of the universe. She had a plate of brownies, half eaten, and a cherry-cream milkshake, also half finished, at hand, her fingers were marking her place in her book so she could watch.
At the weathered old woman's exclamation, she smiled, nodding, "It is. End of the universe anyway." A slight smile as she extended a hand, "I'm Sarah Rainmaker, you must be new."

She peers up at Sarah. "Are you are ready for that? Aughra has not dreamfasted in many Trine...many times many."

"What?! What do you want?"

You're ... are you Aughra? The seer?
no subject
"Hmph! How did you know of me?"

"And how did tales of Aughra come to your land? No tales of human have come to Aughra."
She leans forward. "What say these tales?"

He's not sure when she's here from, and doesn't want to accidentally tell her anything about her future she shouldn't know.
...Though with a seer, that's probably less of an issue than it might be.

"Aughra did not make prophecy. Gelfling did. When Skeksis showed their true faces, Gelfling dreamed the Wall of Destiny. On it was written Prophesy."
She looks up with him sharply. "Be careful of Prophecy, human. Gelfling read their own doom in that Wall along with Skeksis. But Aughra knew Prophecy. Kept knowledge of Prophecy as close as my eye. Kept shards for time when the Prophecy was to come to pass."
