*Snow, Millie and Wade are at the usual booth after finishing dinner, the family curled up together and Snow reading to them from a book she got from Bar. It's probably Dr. Seuss or at least something that is most definately not a fairy tale*

Faith? Is something wrong?
no subject
Faith glances over at Snow, blinking. "Oh, hi, Snow. What? Oh. Uhm. Yes?"
She eyes the kids, then looks back up at their mother. "It's...a thing."
no subject
Well, you're clearly worried about something . . . what happened?
no subject
"Do you know River Tam?"
no subject
I've met her before. She seemed nice, though somewhat out of it and frightened, though I couldn't tell what of. Did something happen?
no subject
"You know what a gunslinger is?"
no subject
I've heard of them around the bar, but I don't think I've met any of them.

I always said a mother should read to her k... ki... children.

It helps them learn. And it's certainly better than the alternative.
no subject
And learning is verreh important, of course.
*He leans over, not getting up even though he is meeting a lady, and holds out his hand.*
Doctor Frederick Chilton, of the Baltimore Hospital for the Criminally Insane.

Snow White. Employee or patient?
no subject
*He blinks, having recognized the name, and looks bemused* Snow White? As in...

I pity those who have to work with you.

leeringgrinning with slightly drunken amusement, seeming to not have heard her.*Snow White... ha... Fairest of them all, hm?
*He points to Millie and Wade.* And whose are those, then? *He laughs shortly under his breath.* Doc's? Grumpy's? Bashful's?
no subject
Fuck, no. And I'd prefer that you didn't make such idiotic insinuations.

He's over there. In that chair. Looking around with bright blue eyes and an almost-smile plastered on his face.

Should poor Chilton be saved? Why, of course not.Coming over, he gives her that almost-smile, and reaches down to lightly touch the twins on their shoulders. It's almost as though he's been waiting years to be able to do that.
"Good evening, Snow." He knows her. His voice implies that.
And unless you want to play him as looking like Fables-verse Beast in human form...How is that?no subject
The only reason I can think of is to spare Snow the night in the cells*the twins smile up at him*
Good evening, Charles.
*she saw him the other night, but I'm thinking at best, looking like perhaps Fablesverse!Beast's human form's brother*

*snicker*Charles sits down next to Millie, after bowing to the babe. "May I?"
Charles plays with Millie and Wade a little, being rather impishly silent as far as the realm of conversation goes.
no subject
*hides from Snow*Of course.
*the twins giggle and grab at his hands and otherwise act like small children having fun*

Charles chuckles, and it is so much more pleasant than it once sounded. He tickles them both, delighting in the shrieks.

It's good to see that human form is working well for you.
