George.

Inna bar.

With a grilled chicken sandwich and fruit salad.

Although it can be assumed George has been downstairs to eat, he's not really been seen inna bar for a while. Feel free to poke.

"All right. I spent some time out of the bar. It wasn't entirely fun. What have you been doing to pass the time.?"

"I suppose they're about the same as they were when you were in 2003. I went to Los Angeles, in that year." Elaine shrugs, as well. "It was rather a trying experience in many ways."

"It was not my intention to go there. I...stepped outside the door and the bar closed the door behind me. Then the door disappeared." Elaine sighs. "Ryan was at his wit's end."

George might remember that waitress from the Day and Night Diner. Then again, he might not.

"Yes. I waited on you. More than once. I was in Los Angeles for two months. It was three weeks or thereabouts here." She smiles. "It was rather stressful."

She smiles. "Yes, people have been telling me that since my return."

Elaine laughed. "That was my first attempt at baking in a modern stove. I'm glad you liked it."

Elaine shakes her head vigorously. "I do not want to." She rubs her left arm. "I think by the end that it was more than enough. Besides...I couldn't tell anyone who I was, and I had no identification, so I had to work what they call 'under the table'..." She smiles wryly. "Plus, getting shot can take the beauty out of anyplace."

"There was a holdup at the diner. One waitress got killed, the manager got shot but lived, and I got shot. Slapped around a bit, too."

Elaine shrugs. "A Lady by the name of Moiraine Healed me, when I got back."

"It was pretty horrendous. But I'm back here now, safely dead, instead of endangered dead, so to speak." Elaine snorts softly.

"I'm glad to be back."

Elaine beams. "Thank you." She picks up her beer. "I'm going to have to get along...I've got a lot of things to do, since this sickness has affected a friend of mine. I hope to see you again soon, George."

Elaine grins. "Oh, you may count on that, George. Have a lovely night."

And with that, she takes her leave.
