Time for a Wes! Since the mun's given up trying to watch M*A*S*H and be online at the same time.

Well, Wes is always happy, but he might seem excessively so just now.

"Howdy," April quipped, striding up to the bar with the idea of ordering some dinner. "Having a good time?" she asked, eyeing the X-wing with a bemused smirk.

"Uh--" The X-wing stops halfway through an attack run on the poor, unsuspecting glass, then lowers a little as Wes looks at April. He grins ruefully. "Yeah, actually. Shame this thing doesn't have mini proton torps or anything, though. Get a proper attack going."

"What a bummer," she laughed, sliding onto a stool. "I've been pimping your party. But I've come to realize I don't know when it is." April arched a questioning brow. "That might help with the planning of it, I figure." She chuckled.

"Hey, thanks! More people know, the better." Then he blinks, and looks almost thoughtful for a second. "Huh. I...have no idea. My amazing party-planning skills seem to have failed this time." He grins. "Guess I gotta talk to Peter again about that."

"Peter Venkman, right?" April asked, tugging her plate of lasagna closer once it had appeared. "If I see him, I'll ask. You think it's okay to assume this weekend?"

"Yeah, that's him," Wes confirms with a nod. "Thanks, and I guess that could work. Seems like everyone'd be here properly at a weekend, right? And gives us time to actually...y'know...organise the thing." He smiles ruefully. "Think we've got some help lined up for that now though."

"Yeah? Well, help's always good. I'm excited for it. I've not been to a real party in ages." April smiled, spearing a bit of pasta with her fork. "I got my dress." She arched a coy brow at him. "You get yours yet?"

"Ah..." Wes can't help a grin, and he shakes his head. "Not yet, 's on my, uh, list of things to do. I'll ask Bar some time, I'm sure..." His smile softens a little. "Or Inyri, now she's back. She's got some to choose from." He pauses. "Don't think they'd fit me, but hey... worth a try."

"That your girlfriend?" April asked casually, taking a bite of lasagna.

Wes stops for a second, smile fading slightly as he considers the question, then he swallows and nods. "Yeah. Yeah, I guess she is." And he smiles again vaguely.

...he's never actually called her that before...

"Well, I would recommend getting something new from the bar. If it were me, I'd kill you if you stretched out my clothes," April pointed out with a smirk.

He laughs at that, and grins again. "Yeah, guess Inyri would too. I'll have to ask Bar later then." He pauses a second, and glances at the Bar warily. "Dunno, though. Got a sense of humour, does Bar..."

April cast him a mischievous sideways glance, but didn't say anything. She wondered if he would actually go through with it. Just have to wait and see, she supposed.
