Naraht's heading toward the back door, and he's carrying George's cage with him.
Last chance to see the Black Beast of Aaauuuugggghh! before he's released into the Dreaming.

Well, she might, being intuitive like that, but she's reading, and not looking up.
no subject
He certainly remembers her. "Good morning, Eska."
no subject
There's certainly something though, as she looks up from her book and smiles.
"Good morning Naraht. You're looking well."
For 'well', read 'amorphic'.
no subject
"As are you, ma'am," he says. "Beautiful morn...George!"
Just at that moment, George has decided to bounce around the cage on another one of is snarling sprees.
"Will you calm down? I'll be letting you out in just a moment."
no subject
"Dare I ask what that is?"
no subject
He mutters. "And I really should find Hagrid and make sure that new waterfall I accidentally made isn't causing problems. Anyway," he says in a louder voice, "Tim suggested I release him into the Dreaming since he shouldn't get into trouble there."
no subject
"I didn't even know we had caves. This place gets bigger and bigger, I'm sure of it." - a puzzled pause - "Do you think it's possible that the more people entering the bar could be expanding the physical dimensions of the miniature universe we have here?"
no subject
He ponders her question. "That seems reasonable. I'm no physicist, but, if this place was created to accomodate guests, I suppose it would have to be able to adjust to accomodate large numbers of them. Hmmm...I really should write to K's't'lk about this. She'd go nuts."
no subject
"Who's K'stulk?"
It's not that bad of a mispronounciation, really.
no subject
There is definate fondness in his voice. "I really should see if there is any way to bring her here. She'd love this place."
no subject
"I have no idea what an Hamalki is. Your world really is quite unlike any I've heard of. What's she like?"
As an individual and as a member of her species, she means.
no subject
He chuckles. "Think of a quartz spider about half my size and you'll have a pretty good idea. She's...I believe the term is 'plucky'. With a charming sense of humor. And intellegent! Great Mother, she makes me feel like a sludge-brain sometimes when she's off on her warp field theories."
no subject
"Amazing! I didn't know trolls - silicon based life forms - came in so many different varieties. The most exotic we have is the gargoyles.
"She sounds like an amazing woman. What's a warp drive?"

"Good morning, Lieutenant."
[ooc: Mun is busy today, and also a bit under the weather, so replies might be slow or off their mark.]

"Can I assume that you are feeling your old self and that there are no lingering affects?"
no subject
He adjusts George's cage to where it is slightly better balanced on his back. "I'm just heading out to let this little monster loose where he won't bother anyone. Then eventually I need to go back home for a bit...even if it does mean I'll have to endure Peck's snore-a-thon briefing."
no subject
"What the heck is THAT?"
no subject
George snarls.
no subject
"I would ask if you brought that back from the Enterprise, but you just told me you haven't been back yet. So where did you find it?
"And where are you planning to let it loose exactly. It doesn't look all that safe." The security mode in Barry's mind is active.
no subject
He sighs. "But it's not enough to let him run loose in the Bar and I can't take care of him forever. So Tim suggested letting him loose in the Dreaming."
no subject
"I wasn't aware there were caves here. Though I suppose that you would probably be more likely to follow such things than I would."
no subject
He gestures with his fringe at the cage. "I simply hope that he is the only one of his kind in that system. If there are...well, I'm going to have to collapse the two new exits I made."
no subject
"I'm curious as to just what it is. It's odd that it would be living here, and if we had the facilities, I would seriously suggest trying to learn more.
"Can I at least hope that you can get some kind of lifesign sensors for the caves?
"And by the way, who named it?"
no subject
"And I named him George. It seems to be a running gag on the ship that, whenever someone comes across a new creature, they say they're going to name it that."
He shrugs. "They never do, for some reason. I figured I'd break the chain."
