Peter walks into the place, looking pretty wiped, also slimed in various spots on his uniform, though he avoided his hair.
"Whew, made it!" He trudges up to his room to drop off his gear, and get changed.

A while later, he's got a big mug of coffee, a thick packet of notes, his notebooks, and some food.

He's keeping an eye for familiar faces, especially another Ghostbuster he needs to pass the notes onto.

"Ya-heh. Pete? That's more than I wanted to know, okay?"

Peter shrugged, and grinned, "So guess this means, I think enough happy thoughts, and I can fly too." He laughed a little.

After all, Venkman's considered to have a Peter Pan complex anyway, might as well go for broke.

"... just as long as I don't have to think about you having them, we'll all be fine, won't we?"

Peter did a mock pout, "Aww, no happy thoughts for Ray? C'mon, it's easy! One, two, three, and away you go!"

"And yet, I'm the one who's supposed to be a kid in a grownup's body," Ray says, shaking his head in wonder. "Okay, okay, I get the picture. We'll have to test you on flying at some point."

He clarified, "You are a kid in a grown-up body. I'm just an older kid in an older grown-up body." *Well, not that old anymore.*

Peter nodded, "Yeah, maybe I won't have to go the bird route to fly like an eagle after all."

Ray nods. "If you do manage to get yourself flying under your own power, I do have to ask you just one thing..."

"What?"

Ray levels a finger at Peter and says, very firmly,

"No capes."

Peter laughed, "I'm not you. No capes, and definitely no tights. I don't know how the superheros do it. Especially still talk in a deep voice while wearing the tights."

"Oh, I wouldn't go for a cape either," Ray says. "Batman or no Batman. I mean, unless you know how to use them perfectly from day one, they're more of a hazard than anything else- I had this nasty mental image of you getting sucked into a jet engine. No, see, as a technologist from three generations back, if I did anything even remotely super-powered, it'd almost certainly involve building a set of power armor."

"But no capes."

Peter grimaced, "And thanks for that lovely mental image, Ray. No plane burger Peter."

"Capes look stupid anyway." No, Peter never tied a towel around his neck as a kid. A long coat yes, but never a cape. "I have more style than that."

Oh dear God, that just raises images of Peter as John Constantine. Argh. Bad.

"Well, can you blame me? Anyway, you've already got your superhero outfit. It's shiny and sparkly and looks like a uniform. Probably washes out better than Spandex, too."

He might pull it off too. ~~At least the mun thinks so, and no, she's not biased! Not at all.~~

Peter admitted, "Yeah, you're right. It's certainly bright enough. Now I just need a snazzy name."

"You're going to have to come up with that one on your own. Word of advice, though. Don't stick a hyphen in your last name. That just sets the teeth on edge. Find yourself something else- oh, and decide if you want a secret identity or not. I mean, John Stewart makes no bones about the fact that he's a Green Lantern, but you might feel differently."

Peter grinned, "Yeah, I'll think of something. Any superhero gotta have good PR, including a good name."

He got up, "I gotta write some notes. I'll leave the packet with you to give a readover. Talk to you later."

Ray nods. "Take care, Pete," he says, and picks up the papers.
