Jack comes down the stairs from a shower after a run. The run has taken away almost all of the nervous energy he'd woken up with, the energy that had kept him awake for much of the night. Now he's a bit more relaxed, if not in the greatest of moods.
He asks the bar for a cup of coffee, while he decides what he wants for dinner. It appears, along with a book. The Bourne Identity. He stares at it for a moment. He can't remember the book too well, but he remembers the movie. Or more particularly, certain aspects of the character in the movie.
"Very funny, Bar."
He takes the book and coffee and heads for a table.

And she goes up to the bar and gets him his order, then brings it back, arranging the silverware and setting out parmesan cheese and salad dressing.
"I talked to Kim the other day," she says quietly.

"How was she?" he asks, his tone neutral.

Yet again, Jack Bauer wins the award for Biggest Understatement of the Century.

“Jack!” Tony’s been wandering around the bar, and sees Jack sitting at a table. “I’ve got something to tell you.”

"You're getting married? That's...that's great!" he says, a smile spreading on his face as it sinks in. Not that part of him isn't thinking WTF?! on a loop. "When did this happen?"
