[OOM: Faith and Joyce have a Forgiveness Moment in Faith's room.]

Faith comes downstairs, dressed in an athletic bra and biker shorts, her hair piled on her head. She's been training, and she's a little sweaty...she could do with a shower, and she'll probably take one soon. But for now, she's here, sitting at a table with a bottle of water, a burger, and fries.

Her security badge and the scar from when Buffy stabbed her in the gut with her own dagger are both plainly visible.

Also? She's smiling.

She nods back, and takes a sip of sake.

"Might I ask..." She gestures in the general direction of Faith's midsection, in a way that could also be construed as just swirling the sake, if the scar that she might have noticed happens to be a personal matter which would not be the business of an acquantance.

"Eight-inch knife to the gut."

Faith is very matter-of-fact about it.

"Long time ago."

"Ara! That must have taken quite a while to recover from. It's not a very good area to be stabbed."

"I was in a coma for eight months."

She's pretty calm about that too.

"It is good that you survived, then," she replies, somewhat awed, "I have heard that such things generally lead to poor prospects of recovery."

Faith shrugs.

"For humans, it would. I'm not human."

"A... so desu ka?" She looks Faith over. "Oh, yes, you are a superhero, if I remember correctly..."
