Door stumbles in - through the bathroom door, this time. Blood coats the right side of her face, matting her hair and dripping onto her leather jacket.

Beneath the blood, she is pale and scared.

"London Below," she tells him. "It's all the people and places that London left behind."

Sounds more interesting than Los Angeles, California. It's all the bright lights, movie stars, and criminals.

"Oh, Low Angeles Below is worse," Door says, perfectly serious. "All the stars who didn't quite make it, and the criminals who were too horrible even for Los Angeles Above. Not as many bright lights, though."
