Ramon's back in the bar again after managing to sleep for about an hour or so. Saying that he looks a mess would be something of an understatement.
Twelve hours to go. He's wondering how much he can drink in that time.

There's no note, but there is a blonde woman in a high fantasy guards uniform staring at a tankard of beer just up the bar.
no subject
'Thank you.' He smiles at her but she seems to be staring at her drink.

He almost dies in shock at himself. He's never asked anyone that, ever - not for the sake of just wanting to know how someone is.
He throws his whiskey back and orders another.

That bastard Ramon is to blame. We survived Q fine, and now this pesky human that I could have killed 50 times over, causes this. My lover and best friend, within 18 hours. I can't let him know. Of course I cannot speak with him anyway. I said I would stay out of it. I just need to wait for Random. He'll have advice, or at least a shoulder.
-and that's all he has to say about that.
[ooc: Mun *Waits for random* Cause random needs to convince him not to leave the bar. If he leaves he'll never come back, and he's very close to doing so.]

Ramon looks up and sees Andres. The knowledge of what he's done to this man is burning him, and its worse when his eyes can physically see some of the effects of it.
It's been a couple of days since he slept properly and he's not up to this. He turns back to his whiskey. If Andres wants to talk, fine but he's not about to invite more stress right now.
no subject
Of course Andres is not going to talk to him. There's only one person he wants to speak to right now. He probably hasn't even noticed Ramon is there.
no subject
That's the quiet murmur from a nearby table. But despite his words to Arithon, he's not so sure anymore.
Random of Amber does not like witnessing the pain of another. Even that of one such as Ramon Salazar.
no subject
'Dark and beautiful? I'm not interested in talking about Andres right now Random.'
no subject
He shrugs.
"I've no interest in discussing your speculation about my imaginary lover, nor any other 'creativity' of yours."
His eyes are heavy.
"One would think you'd have learned enough by now to respect those with magic."
no subject
He frowns though. 'Creativity? I dont know what you mean.' He throws some more whiskey back, aware that he's starting to hurt physically as well now...he's gone through four bottles of hard liquor since this started and still cant pass out.
He looks at him with as much curiousity as he can muster. 'Who told you?'
no subject
He cocks his head.
"Don't trouble yourself to react for appearances sake. Frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a damn."
no subject
He's glad that he doesn't have to bother with anything that resembles normal social behaviour, and glad that Random doesn't care. He can't hurt him if he doesn't care. 'So what else do you know?'
no subject
He shrugs.
"Weird things, on and off, like remembering a dream. If I'm not looking to know."

Good day. Would you walk with me a while? I believe we have matters to discuss.
no subject
Ramon looks up and recognises the man at once. As far as his new conscience is telling him, he hasn't hurt this creature but he's still not in the mood for any more stress. He's not sure he can take it.
'I'm not having the best day ever Senor, could we talk another time? Although I'm not sure I know what we have to discuss.'
It's said politely. He's smart enough to know that this guy is powerful.
no subject
We need to discuss something I mentioned to you when first we met. And as for you not having the best day ever? I know, and it will continue not to be the best day ever.
*He puts out a pale hand and holds Ramon's wrist. To another it might be a friendly gesture. This is not.* Walk with me.
(ooc: S'okay. Though some headsup would have been nice.)
no subject
He tries to think about what the man said to him. He knew he'd told him the rules of the bar, but beyond that? He didn't know.
He looks down at the hand on his wrist, and tries to pull it away on instinct. 'I'll make myself available to you tomorrow. I've got enough on my mind right now.'
He's still polite but is confused, and distracted by other things anyway.
no subject
I insist.
no subject
'Fine.' He slides off his chair. He's not even really considerng what this guy wants, distracted as he is by his other problems. And the threat of a few minutes ago has been lost already.
no subject
*conversationally* Have you seen our lake? It really is quite beautiful. A friend of mine made all this: the lake, the trees, the stars here.
