In the stables
Taking a quick lunch break from work, Caspian settles himself on a hay bale and unfolds the sandwich Bar had given him that morning, with a smile. He has hay in his hair, which is promptly rumpled by Corella's nuzzling him to find a carrot.
"This one is mine," he tells her, amused. "I already gave you lunch."
His sandwich finished, he heads into the bar for a quick drink before getting back to work.

"You still cannot get through." It isn't a question, of course not. If she could go, she would, right?
"Well, we shall have to find you some sort of employment, I think," he tells her cheerfully, brightening his voice in hopes of cheering her.

"Ah, but you are no mere stableboy," she replied, reaching for one of his hands and threading their fingers together.

"No," he agrees, smiling. "I am not. I am a king, and you are my lady. So perhaps I am not so dangerous after all."
