Robinton's at the piano, slowly getting the hang of chords.
Something resembling a 'melody' is beginning to form, as well.
But a story would help.
Masterharper available- have at!
[ooc: edit/summary- The Masterharper and the Forsaken Bard talk. Asmodean succeeds in scaring the harper to death. Zedd and Robinton discuss the availability of music, and Liz Imbrie stops by for *cough*slowtime*cough* more examination of the harper's hands.]

"And what would that be, sir?"
no subject
"Slightly over three hundred and fifty years, but I lost track a few years ago."
no subject
He takes an unsteady breath.
"And you play other instruments?"
no subject
"I play the harp, flute, the piano, the corea, the balfone, the shama, among others."
no subject
"A wide range indeed. Masterharper Robinton, honoured to make your acquaintance."
no subject
"A pleasure making your acquaintance."
A small smile.
"I am called Jasin Natael, and am simply a musician."
no subject
He frowns, perplexed.
"I've not heard the word. What does it refer to? Harping?"
no subject
"It means a creator of music."
no subject
His eyes drift back to the piano keys.
"Perhaps you can explain- why is the scale off on that instrument? The increments in tone, they are uneven."
no subject
"The scaling is different than that of the harp. It is such with many instruments."
no subject
"I see. Frustrating, but necessary, I imagine."
no subject
"Such things often arise in instrument construction..."
no subject
"And in all things, I imagine."
no subject
"Indeed."
no subject
Or on a knife.
He doesn't reply.
no subject
"The bar will provide you with music if you so desire."
no subject
"The written scores? I didn't know that was possible."
no subject
"Bar, may I have the score for Hungarian Rhapsody by Franz Liszt?"
A copy of the music appears.
no subject
"This is... unusual. Like nothing from my world."
no subject
"It corresponds as such."
He played a scale that started with the first note of the piece.
no subject
No matter, he can alter it. Simply remove the more...
But he stops himself, casually setting the sheets face down, and looking up at the bard.
no subject
"Yes, my lord?"
no subject
Robinton believes that transposed music loses something key.
no subject
"It is one of my own, but it should suffice nicely."
Fire flared around the bard for a moment, and a portal spun open in mid air. The bard stepped through it, and returned a few seconds later. The portal shut behind him.
"This is called the Ballad of the Corinin and it should suffice nicely."
He offered a piece of music to Robinton.
no subject
"I'd heard your magic, Musician, but I'd not credited it to be more than that."
He's never seen such a thing... heard rumors of it, mentions, whispers.
"You go between dragonless?"
